GN2 does not support it either.

Despite being smaller, GN3/GN5 are more advanced than GN1/GN2.

Anonymous, 20 Dec 2022Still same sensor, not "huge" update. And Samsung... moreEven though it's Google's flagship, it costs $600 not $1000. So a chip that's a little less performant (while still being fast enough honestly) is not a problem.

You'll be the camera champion. Samsung sensors have always shown better results than expected

When will this obsession with fake HDR stop?

To get real HDR you need more than 8 bits per color channel, you absolutely need a different than JPEG file format, e.g. JPEG-XL.

I would imagine that the "tensor 3" will also remain a renamed exynos! oh google...

Still same sensor, not "huge" update. And Samsung chip, most likely will reuse G2 since even Scamsung using TSMC, lol. Still will be hyped. Imagine if a Chinese brand used such chip in their phone, everyone will get mad, but since it's google everyone praises it. Double standards.

This is good, the GN2 is a huge sensor, second only to IMX 989
