GN2 does not support it either.
Despite being smaller, GN3/GN5 are more advanced than GN1/GN2.

When will this obsession with fake HDR stop?
To get real HDR you need more than 8 bits per color channel, you absolutely need a different than JPEG file format, e.g. JPEG-XL.

Still same sensor, not "huge" update. And Samsung chip, most likely will reuse G2 since even Scamsung using TSMC, lol. Still will be hyped. Imagine if a Chinese brand used such chip in their phone, everyone will get mad, but since it's google everyone praises it. Double standards.
