Google's 3 OS updates = Samsung's 4 OS updates

The new Pixel arrives in October and usually with the latest Android version. Samsungs will arrive in August always with the previous version. Samsung's 4 updates is really 3 years.

My Flip 3 came with Android 11 installed back in Aug 2021. Got 12 by Dec in 2021. That's the first update. It will be updated until 15 which is in 2024. Since Pixel 6 already came with 12 and gets 3 OS updates, it also ends at 15.

Where Google is behind is using crappy Tensor. They need to return to Snapdragon. Why can Samsung and Oppo match Google's length of OS updates by years using Qualcomm but Google can't extend it using their own SoC?
