    Better they keep their lineup simple.
    A1 A2 A3 with similar ultra, + models.

        Honestly they would be foolish not to add an FE option next year.
        Or rather, the highest grade A series phone that doesnt have DEX and a zoom camera.

          Honestly I'm ok with companies launching fewer phones as long as it makes it easier to keep them up to date.

              Damn I was optimistic that samsung will try to use the a7x line with the a74 as a starting point to fill the gaps left by the FEs

                I knew this was coming, good riddance btw. What's next for the Axx series, we'll see about that. It's either they would shoot themselves in the foot again, or else.

                  Based on my observation, one of the reasons A5x series seems interesting is the existence of A7x series.
                  Wonder will A5x be still THAT interesting without the A7x?

                            It already ended with A73, which was a downgrade - no 3.5mm jack, no telephoto. Typical modern madness and usual trend - going backwards and making things worse.

                              good tbh. the A7 line lately has basically just been Samsung shooting themselves in the foot by making a near-flagship for a much lower price than the S line... which is also the reason why the FE refreshes exist?

                                Stop changeing the lineup! My mom loves big Phone screens but I cannot affort an S2X ultra for her so I just got her a A73 this month! I hate it when the market takes away the good stuff!!!!!

                                  Good finally now people that look for midrange or budget phones will now be able to pick out whats new and not new. I bet people that are old or dont know about phones literally got the A90 cuz of higher number means NEWER. I also like how nobody on youtube or anyone mentions how confusing it is. A lower number is somehow newer than the higher number. Oh wait no its the lower number oh nevermind idk what it is now.

                                    With their flagships getting 5 years of update. They want to sell their old flagships at this high mid range price. It's what Apple is doing with their old iphones.

Foxconn-designed and manufactured A series until 2017 are much better in terms of durability, practically, usability and design compared to these generic Samsung-branded ODM phones. Hadn't the Note7 exploded, Samsung phones would've been manufactured by Foxconn even today.
