12S Ultra was to show off and to grab atention 5-6 months early, which was a killer ads move. Xiaomi stole the show with it. This is also why it didn't escape China, their heavy hitter it's supposed to be the 13 pro and it will be.
Anyway, Xiaomi needs to take a page out of VIVO's book and provide in the box a quality case, matching the colors of the phone and also provide the transparent one which they usually provide and which I'm very fond of, it protects your phone and let the design be seen

Looks like those... moreI kinda dig the eye lenses camera rings on az9. Kinda elegant too, especially on the black one. It's better executed than any of those Chinese phones out there with the same rings and rearranged cameras, islands, like oppo, vivo, oplus, realme n xiaomi ones etc.

Emiliani, 02 Jan 2023I agree. Wireless charger is must-have today. I don't use it. Why let my phone just sit and (slowly) charge ? My mix 4 in 15-20 min fully charges and gives me very good screen on time. Mix 4 isncapable of 50w wireless charging, but never used it. Didn't expected it, but way more useful it proved itself the reverse wireless charge, when someone needed a quick 15-20 min juice at school or caffe shop, I was able to give them.

RudeDude, 02 Jan 2023OnePlus fanboy spottedMate I've never had a OnePlus phone, I just recommended to a friend a OP Nord 2 in december 2021. He had an iphone X, was looking at an iphone 13, but actually used his phone just for texting, little stupid games to kill time (like Candy Crash, Angry Birds etc), and very rare web & taking photos. To this day, he is very happy with the phone and even happier that he paid less than half of what an iphone 13 would have costed in Romania. He paid 2250 RON for OP Nord 2 256 gb 12 gb ram and the iphone 13 128 gb was 5300 RON (RON being our currency, 1 Euro = 5 RON)
Regarding OP, the 7 pro was strong for the time with uninterrupted screen (I hate even punch holes from the butom of my heart). The 8 pro was actually really really strong all around, then 9 pro, 10 pro and the upcoming 11 bring nothing to the table and there are a lot of better alternatives. I follow the brand, maybe they will come out strong in 2024, now that OPPO is further pumping new money + zero profit margin, but my hopes are not high at all.
I am very dissapponted by Xiaomi for 2022 (still a few great phones, but too expensive in comparison with the competition) funny how the 13 pro (great, but boring and will be 100% overpriced when internationally available) took a lot of pages from my MIX 4. Xiaomi's camera game is weak AF vs Pixel, Vivo X series and even S22 Ultra (there's always some blur, not sharp enough). I say this because I have the MIX 4 with strong 108 MP 1/1.33 main sensor and for my father I bought him a MI 10T Pro in december 2020 with the same big good old sensor. Both phones great main cam, but still underperforming.
I am following very close VIVO (many many great phones). I don't mind spending €1200, but I want it to stand out design and (main) camera. X90 pro+ is gorgeous in red and top overall
Something always draws me to OPPO (since Find X2 pro) but they can't convince me yet (great flagships, but heavy overpriced without standing out). X3 & X5 series felt like iphone replica design wise and that 1/1.56 sensor for the main cam rubbs me the wrong way.
Samsung great ultra flagships, but I couldn't even get one for my mother, S22U & S21U would have been too much for her and I don't like anything else, so I went with Pixel 6 for her.
Pixels 6 & 7 series I think they have the best main camera, Pixel 6 series had a killer design, crazy beautiful. Pixel 7 series's design I don't like. But except for the camera, I don't like at all Pixel UI.
Maybe I'm biased and love the MIUI design because I was an iphone user up untill iphone 11, but just couldn't do with 60hz and notch / pill anymore. No mas :)) until they go full screen I won't even consider IOS. I'm worried about Android too, because except gaming phones, no one is doing uninterrupted display (don't tell me ZTE, ther are not premium enough yet and I just can't daily drive ZTE, I am already having a hard time when someone asks me what phone is this :)))) at least they heard about Xiaomi)
