However I have big hands, I expect to have an exactly 5 inch visible screened Zenphone 10 (with a bit larger physical size) in 2:1 ratio. This is the real market demand nowadays (All people surrounding me are talking about the missing iphone mini sized android phone). Of course asus should keep the technical background with latest snapdragon and software as well as the good battery life. Wireless charging and waterproof features are also a must. A telefoto camera should be added to reach wider range of customers with it.
Zenphone 9 is already a good candidate as my next phone when time comes, but I hope there will be something closer to the above so I may speed up to replace my present one.

Love my zenfone 9,but hate the poor quality screen and the fact no one cares enough to make any accessories for it!

Why is the lack of a large screen a problem because as far as I understood the point of the phone was to be compact and different to other phones.

Anonymous, 02 Jan 2023By short exposure if you mean default, auto mode, OIS does ... moreFor auto mode I can see that. I just don't personally see the use case of auto night mode, I've always found you can get much better results in manual mode especially after developing the RAW photos yourself.

So for main camera sensors it doesn't really matter. I can see why it would matter for telephotos, but on the other hand it's kinda hard to fit OIS into a periscope zoom module.

As far as glass on phones goes, no that wouldn't decrease manufacturing costs a lot, you can buy high quality replacement baco glass for literally 20$. In the land of 1200$ phones that's nothing.

dbjungle, 01 Jan 2023Asus isn't making a large screen flagship because that... moreAsus gave you a whole different style of big phones. Beside the ROG, many love the Flip series as it gave you a great, huge display without any interruption which is great for media consuming and a great set of cameras that could double as your selfie shooters. So to be honest, it makes sense that people miss those phones, especially when they mostly undercut rivals from other companies.

Why ppl obsessed with camera hardware and software, and seem happy companies evolve device at all besides next-gen chip and the models colour option that no one buys. I buy rog phone's for everyday ease of use and daily improvement of things everyone likes. Mqa wireless & wired audio that's industry leading even apple spacial audio is no match for proper lossless mqa files from apps like tidal. Phones have a battery large enough to last all day and night to negate the need to carry a cable and charging dock everywhere you go, fastest storage and transfer speeds possible included, dual WiFi and combined data +wifi to increase performance available.
For last 3yrs I get daily looks of wonder or ppl asking about RGB lighting effects and for 1000+ days I laugh at everyone else adjusting daily lives because of battery life left on device 😂😂, don't underestimate the difference leaving charging dock and cable next to bed and knowing you can YouTube stream download game email all day without worry it's a shock that surprised me in a pleasant way switching from typical phones. I don't game either and still love Asus business model,
Oh and 1st time opening pro/ultimate rog boxes and attention to level of detail and making it feel premium vsblqnd box with specs on 1 side pic of phone on other ya done effort from apple and Samsung 🤷🤔

PhoneFreak45, 01 Jan 2023Humans are imperfect. We drop things. Phones are not indest... moreWhich makes glass backs pointless. If they stopped with this glass back nonsense then manufacturing cost would be lower and we'll have cheaper flagship phones and everyone would be happy.
I do admit Zenfone 9 is on the expensive side despite plastic back and it's disappointing.

PhoneFreak45, 01 Jan 2023Yes you see my point. Photography is a whole different stor... moreBy short exposure if you mean default, auto mode, OIS does great job in reducing blur. It really reduces number of attempts to get a blur-free image. If you're going to manual mode and using really short exposure then you have a point. But you're sacrificing light intake which is needed in low light situation. Yes, OIS won't correct very long exposures. But for default, auto exposure you can clearly feel the advantage

Hamad1993, 01 Jan 2023I own zenfone 9 and i can confirm that its a beast! Using i... moreLove to hear that. After Zenfone 8 fiasco this is great news. That one had a lot of major issues and most of them were related to the dreadful 888. I love the form factor but if the rest of the phone sucks welp 🥲. Now the battery seems like a beast, every spec seems ideal, only thing left on the table to fix is SD card support (hopes die last) and the cameras. But 6 inch phones are just perfect. Only reason why I want Asus to succeed in phone space, cause their hardware and laptops are hella good, and I don't want phones to take away the budget from that. Even Apple targets the 6.1inch, well 5.8 if we look at their older models, and that is just perfect for one handability.

All the past Flip phones were hard to get. Many of which were only available in certain countries. That being said, I had to pay extra to get my ZenFone 8 Flip imported into my country. I had to get the flip camera repaired as it got stomped on in the snow early last year and was saddened that my warranty even though it was extended, was only valid in Taiwan.... Besides all that I still love my Flip, I wish they made more and we're available globally.

Well updates are big problems everywhere but rather will have a less updates on a good specced and priced device than having an overpriced device with tons of updates and mostly bug fixes.
