The point of peak brightness that is at good visible level is 1600nits...2000nits making it very good outside at sunny days
You always can limit the max brightness by not select auto-bright

What is the point of pointlessly increasing brightness ?? To drain battery even faster?
Like we don't have screens bright enough?? Phones android forcing phone screens to reduce brightness anyway
The tech is going ridiculous way not progress way .. This is to me that manufs really exhausted ideas what else they would add or innovate..

It seems like it's just their M12 OLED material that is already used by Fold4 and iPhone 14 Pro (Max). S23 Ultra should for sure use this but don't know if S23 or S23+ will. S22 used M10 while S22+ & S22U used M11

Yes, our customers need 2000 nits of brightness. What if they fly near the sun and it's too bright to see the screen?
