The G810 will represent a good imaging option for those seeking additional smartphone functionality and puts it as an alternative to the Nokia N82. By the end of this year further additions in the marketplace will mean more choices for those seeking a quality camera phone. The question, on the imaging front anyway, is when will the processing technology incorporated into mobile devices coupled with quality lenses and sensors lead to a situation where cameras on-board mobile devices is comparable in quality to dedicated point and shoot digital cameras?

morris, 18 Aug 2008Nokia doesnt deserve to be in the race of these three spect... moreI agree morris. Thats why I'm glad as hell that Sony Ericsson decided to get into the windows mobile market. The only WinMo phone i ever owned was the IMate JAM and it was horrible because imate don't add their own software in the phone so it was very dry. Plus the screen is impossible to operate with your finger.
Now all companies are adding their own candy and that is why i can't wait for the XPERIA. All the best SE goodies (especially the media player that won the W980 the music award and the touch camera interface of the G900) and the spanking new panel interface which i think is the best especially because it is customizable. HTC's Touch Flo and Samsung's TouchWiz are not. For instance there is no contacts app for the X1 yet (other than the winmo one) but a developer can make one to his liking. And others can make their own so you end up with a choice of contact apps not just one. The same goes for messaging, media and so on. That is what is so great about the panel interface that not many people understand yet.
                        GO SONY ERICSSON!!!!!!

Nokia MUST Innovate if they want to stay in market.

I'm afraid Nokia is not so good at Customer Care too, as my experience says.

I think the omnia lost cause of the res, man these days the one rare thing in phones is a good display, i'm tired of QVGA man it spoils the who phone, Man VGA on the Diamond could't have been cooler.

I'm still a nokia fan, no matter what they still got more in their phones and right now their still on top, the N95 8GB is still better than the G810 and in cam theres nothing like N82, i agree that Nokia lack touch screen so they can't be compared to WinMo. but for all the people against Nokia if you start a flame war than don worry we're still here to Back Nokia up, later homies keep chillin

Congragulation to all those who snatch EISA awards. But where is NOKIA, I deem that NOKIA is the best and I want to see the name of NOKIA next time in the winners list.

Very Deserving Winners !! Congratulations to Samsung, SE & HTC ...

Surprised that Nokia isn't here? I'll tell you why -- Nokia is busy "REMIXING" sets...

Now, they are always busy remixing old sets - making a mockery of themselves.

For 3 years, I'm waiting to see an "ALL ROUND" Set by Nokia- Good camera & excellent music ... but No, They won't.

Even if Nokia uses CARL ZEISS Lens it couldnt beat Samsung G810 which uses simple Samsung lenses

                                    Great guys.....
                                    Glory Samsung

Other two phones were deserved to get awards....But Omnia was better than HTC

Nokia doesnt deserve to be in the race of these three spectacular phones. Nokia doesnt have great music oriented phones like sony ericsson. They doesnt have an impressive UI at all that is why i think they dont have great multimedia capabilities. Also symbian OS can never ever compete with a windows mobile 6.1 like HTC touch diamond. So nokia doesnt has a future from now.
