Apples' cpu's and gpu's are customised ARM and Imagination design, which they Apple from ARM and Imagination company as licencing is the main business model for ARM and Imagination. But moden manufacturer want to sell their modem, not license. As developing new desing from scratch is quite harder then customising already existing design, this is what delying Apples modem.

So to force customers to buy it they killed SE series that will result in se users switching to normal regular edition of iphone if customers want to use iOS.

At almost $610 here, the SE 3 (64 GB) is terrible value for money, for what it offers. And then, the 14 is a flop as well. So is the 14 Plus
Apple's greed now reducing their phone sales and so they just increasing battery replacement costs, every few months or so. Robbing their customers

It makes sense, consider price jump of every SE since 2106, it would cost at least $499.99 and that's basically price of some old and discounted models making purpose of SE gone.

That only means the Xr 2 is coming. 1st gen SE was good, but the 2nd and the 3rd... Let's say they are for the special group of customers. And no, mini series won't come back. It is like just asking Apple to bring back the headphone jack, because both of them won't increase Apple's revenue. And for those who want a new small phone, just get a 13 mini, while it is in stock

It would become hard to upsell the base iphone model if they changed design. Another 'chip only' refresh wouldn't be a good idea either. Apple finally ran out of ideas to make a worse phone.
