Colour me surprised, its almost like not enough people want poor phone for its price
Subpar cameras, subpar screen, subpar everything but the chipset, but that alone doesn't justify the price tag, if it was 100 dollars cheaper sure, but otherwise no

Title and content don’t match. It‘s just another of these thousands of likely wrong rumors floating around. Declaring the entire line of existing phones as dead because of that is obviously clickbait.

My boyfriend with 2020 SE said that with his next phone he wants type c(which is coming to iPhones) and fingerprint scanner so very likely he will have to switch to android.
Which is good because with android he could get better phone for less money.

So basically, Apple kills the iPhone SE because they don't think their baseband chip is on par with Qualcomm's. I won't be surprised if Apple silently uses the phone as the engineering prototype behind the scenes and brings it back later on once Apple gets the whole chip right. Remember iPad Air 2019? That came five years after the iPad Air 2 was launched in 2014, and the iPad Air 2019 was basically the third-gen model.

I believe this as just a marketing trick as SE users are used to iOS and so vey few will shift to android and major portion will stay with iOS. The only option for them is to go with vanilla edition. Its a trick to convert se users into vanilla edition users.
And for someone complaining about big display small pocket issue, anyone who can afford iphone, can afford to buy pants with bigger pockets also.

Right. That means from now on, the cheapest iPhone I can get where I am will go for ~850$ US. Or get a couple of generations older model for 600$ at least. Have the newest SE I got for 470. It’ll live for a few years before seeing what will happen.
