AnonD-109744, 16 Mar 2013Im not hater of any brand...but reality.. People in this f... moreGsmarena alerted everybody to removable batteries

Samsung and Nokia have strive to have this. a phone WITHOUT a removable battery is a rechargeable phone.

Deal breaker does the phone have it as I can and do always buy a SPARE BATTERY. only ONCE before buying spare did i have a phone with NO JUICE

Again MICRO SD expansion without is a MEMORY CARD you can make call with.
In addition to bluetooth and USB microSD data movement.

Now being a Nokia man I switched to Android SGS II
plastic is a toy, the SGS II does NOT feel like plastic, it is solid rigid and has GUERRILLA GLASS (SIC) if this is plastic then yum yum yum!
Reading the iP5 review negative point aluminium soft metal scratches easily,

In 2014 as in contract till then SIV not SGS III
so my plastic SGS II yum yum yum won 4 Phone of the Year Awards in 2011- 2012

The SGS III (ie Samsung)COPIED this winning the SAME 4 awards in 2012-2013
So I take my cues from reviews & from award winners

    SiV will again clean house
    Cost saving NO FUNCTIONALITY YES

AnonD-115184, 16 Mar 2013Dude non removable battery is your problem. Talk about you... moreOh, so I see you drop phones for a living...upiii! Man, get a grip! Your telling me, is cool to follow the trend that iPhone began! Non-removable battery is a positive option?! Every flagship has their pros and cons, PERIOD! One thing that I loved when I bought my S3 is the variety of official and 3rd party acessories (something that I didn't have for Xperia Arc S or Xperia S). I even can tell you, that I was undecided between One X and S3...and by far S3 had more advantages, goodies and even removable battery superior to the none removable 1800mAH from HTC. If I would buy a non-removable battery smartphone I would by far choose a Razr MAXX HD. Sure S3/S4 design isn't great like Xperia Z (my favourite in design actually and paired with my SONY smartwatch it would be awesome), RAZR MAXX, HTC One, DNA or even Lumias but is not ugly as hell that you make it sound like. I came to like very much the design and if you search for other not so known brands, the S3 design is now a trend (even LG has a new one with the design similar to Note II). But each person has it's own personal taste on designs. You hate, others love it, it's how things work. But you have to admit that in the overall package and has a flagshit, S3 and Now S4 offers more than HTC one X, DNA and One. The story will be played again like it was with S3 and One X, unfornately for HTC because they're great but sales aren't that good. Maybe poor marketing! To finnish this long post (sorry for that), I also was hoping for a new design from Samsung but then again it's their image, like HTC has it's own designs and they are similar though out time, also samsung will make similar to their predecessors. They think like: "if we sold S3 like hot cakes why change the design drastacly?! Let's make few changes and continue to bet on software." because in the end, believe it or not, what matters is the performance and abilities.

oww.. there is no reason to buy this crap, for me, unless, samsung come up with really needy features like,
a screen - legible enough to read in sunlight,
                      storage - a well around 128GB built-in, fast enough
                      read/write speeds
and a battery - well enough to carry on for a couple of days (without overheating crappy hardware)

meanwhile, i'll stick to S2... y should a need arise to change ??

The only reason these bashers have is plastic, however plastic is not the problem. The problem is apple who does not want to see any Samsung phone shaped like the Iphone. Indeed apple had patent agreement with the other companies to allow near rectangular shaped devices. Samsung is tied of law suits. Samsung had metal covered phones before and the next iteration of galaxy series will. I believe we need bold designers/lawyers for Samsung. Some of the concept shapes are pretty good and can be borrowed by Samsung. In the hardware front Samsung has raised the bar, they are leading, they have mastered the android platform. There is good staff in S4. Negative comments were made about s3, but it is still selling! Any new technology must have challenges, the day for AMOLED/PHOLED has come courtesy of Samsung!

[deleted post]Hey, let me make a simple comparison between htc one and the S4 for you.
The screen size: 4.7" vs 5". The full hd resolution is better on bigger screen, you know.
The overall size: Though having 0.3" of more screen estate, the S4 is only 1.6mm wider (that's just 0.8mm on each side), but less in length AND 1.4mm thinner.
Weight: the S4 is 13grams lighter.
Screen protection: Gorilla Glass 2 on the htc and Gorilla Glass 3 on the S4 with 3x more scratch-resistant.
Battery: 2300 mAh non-replaceable on the htc one vs 2600 mAh replaceable + the extra set of four 1.2 GHz cores with sole task of battery life saving on the S4.
Memory storage capacity: Non-expandable on the one vs expandable on the S4. Dropbox 25GB on the one vs 50GB on the S4.
Special software features: S4's Smart stay, Smart pause, Smart scroll, Splitscreen multi-window, Air gestures vs htc one's .. none??
Casing material: Aluminum on htc one (used for wrapping food and soda drink) vs premium plastic (polycarbonate) on the S4 (used to make bullet proof glass and fighter jet pilot canopy).
                              Uhm.. That's all for now.
So.. Hope you're satisfied with your phone.

I can tell you this since you never used Exynos before but i have and i used Qualcomm before!
Benchmarks mean nothing, i can get a higher score in SI than SIV but installing some tweaks and kernel!
But in real life its completely different.
For example this is a comparison between Qualcomm A15 and Exynos A9 and Exynos won, It didn't break any sweat in running HD games unlike Qualcomm even in boot time.
                                  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_yAazP_VC8

So again Exynos A15 its the best thing there for the next 2 years at least.

Sorry, but everyone thinking of buying this plastic should be smacked in the face just to wake up! 1. Amoled screen - oversaturated and unbalanced screen showing blue colours instead of white! 2. Octa processor - not a REAL octa but 4xQuad - performance similar to Snapdragon 600..... (Quad core)....,,,,, Snapdragon 800 will eat this octopus on a dinner! (Octa is just a marketing name for sheeps to buy this crap. Its not a real octa as 8 cores will never work together in the same time! 3. Removable battery - if the battery is poor quality then yes it needs to be removable! 4. Display Touch less technology - actually Sony Xperia Sola had this technology some time ago but somehow Samsung patented this technology with SGS4? this is ridiculous! 5. Eye tracking feature - this is a funny one as this is just tilt and head movement tracking,,,, how people can actually believe this crap,,,, 6. Gestures tracking - this was actually patented looooong time ago by Microsoft and gues what? Samdung patented this with SGS4,,,,,, i could go on and on,,,,, people please wake up!!!!
