Apple will remove everything, from sd card slot, headphone jack, actual button and next will be port charger. The biggest dream, apple will remove the iPhone itself. Great job..

NeonHD, 12 Jan 2023Pretty sure there will be a cut-out for the power buttonI'm wondering how can the phone be powered on? The touch sensor needs electricity to operate, unlike a button, which I think completes a circuit when moved by pressing.
Do they plant to keep those sensors activated 24/7 when phone is turned off? Will it not waste battery? And what about increased accidental turn-ons?

They'll also claim garbage like it will improve IP rating. Meanwhile Sony will continue to give us physical buttons and IP65/IP68 rating at the same time, while all of these solid-state button phones will have IP68 at most.
Most idiots in the comment section don't know what IP65 is anyway, they think it's lower form of water resistance than IP68. Lol, ignorant fools wonder why they lost warranty due to water damage when put their phone under shower.

What has apple got to offer other than taking away user freedom and comfort? Headphone jacks and now buttons. Never even had microSD and removable battery. Removing/not having important features is considered innovation nowadays. Next is USB port, you think they can tolerate not being able to sell lightning cables?
Shills will as usual be calling us "archaic" etc and will mockingly ask why don't we go back to using phones with physical keypads? This shows their (either genuine of deliberate) inability to distinguish between different situations where certain technology is better than other, regardless of being old or new
When USB is taken away, those shills will mockingly ask why don't we use landlines if we like wires so much? Again, same situation.

Ah yes my favourite smartphone feature, "Realistic dimple". Turn an iron dimple into a real button. Very innovative. Why not remove the buttons entirely and add a remote control to mimic virtual fingers? Could help boost innovation more!

If Apple does make this happen, I hope it's one of those solid-state power buttons that is recessed into the frame. And if it is, then I hope they bring touch ID back as it's the perfect location for it.
