And how important is the screen size when you are considering a new phone?

Below 6 inches anyday

But also, screen size depends as per use. Since most people keep one phone, for all their requirements, the ideal size for them becomes something like almost 7 inches or as big as possible. For me, who carries one for different purposes, i.e media, gaming, regular use, etc, I'll pick one as per it's convenient size. But I think this poll is towards the phone people use as the daily smartphone so I'll pick one under 6 inches

    The perfect height for me is 155mm. Still comfortable to use with one hand.

      This is dumb.
      Screen size doesn't mean anything. What you want to know is the actual physical dimension of the phone. A small screen is pointless when the bezel is large and the phone is hard to handle. Meanwhile, a large screen is fine if it's edge to edge and the phone is small (eg. iPhone mini).

      So the better gauge is the phone's width and weight, not screen size.

        Personally best would be 6.3" - in between smallish 6.1 and bigish 6.5

          The ideal screen size of a Samsung is to finally make a smartwatch that has the same heart-rate accuracy and sleep-tracking as an Apple watch, damn it!
