Samsung Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra now rumored to come with a price hike

18 January 2023
Expect to pay around $100 or so more than for their predecessors when those launched.

Worst part is they have degraded the Haptics engine. When everybody else is trying to make the phone more interactive in the way one interacts with it. Samsung increases the price and degrades the haptic engine even more than it was. Pathetic.

Wow S22 2nd generation will cost more, what a surprise.

They are not as widely available and ridiculously expensive even composted to samsung and apple. And for zero reason. They actually save millions on hardware, software, marketing, and availability. Yet charge insanely more than others. While their screens, speakers, battery, and camera have been years behind.
              It's kind of bonkers.
But they do have sd slot and headphone port in a new flagship. And they have an appeal. But boy oh boy do they know how to drop the ball on ask the potential they have

That's still a price hike. For the prices they charge, how little has changed, that they removed removable storage, accs the fact that 3 1/2 years ago the note 10 had a base storage of 256gb and 12gb ram which they downgraded afterwards even in the ultra models, etc etc etc.
It's a price hike irrelevant of the storage

samsung should increase USD100 for US & EURO market only. They are the main culprit for causing inflation. It is still affordable to them. Rest of the world maintain old price.

Phone prices are going real crazy. It's better to to stick buying mid-range or get some pre-owned flagship. There's hardly any value in these inflated priced flagships of today. Just overpriced trash

Breaking "news" for the first time in 5 years, a new device ships with a faster chip and notable software improvements. Meanwhile: the rest of the hardware lags behind as Moore's Law follows slumping wages into the gutter. Here's to another decade of corporate-induced recession!

Who cares, when you buy a phone nowadays, it's for five years. 100 bucks doesn't make any difference. It's not 2007 when a mobile revolution happened every 6 months and your phone was already obsolete.

I think that we have reach a peak in the production of raw material that now production can't meet the required demand. If you think about it, how many phones, laptops, televisions and other electronic devises are being released annually and for the last 20 years. We are exhausting our resources and practically 95% are e-waste that can't be recycled. In the coming 50 years, things will be gloomier. If not global warming eradicating us, it will be war that will do it.
