The only thing making me hold back from spending 1500 dollars on it is that the battery dies so quickly. It's 2023, they had so many years to improve the battery life and it appears as if they don't want to just to milk their customers more to buy a new phone every two years.

I think the 'Plus' S23 gets better battery life: 0.5 inch bigger screen and 800 mAh bigger battery.

Better by how much, that we have to see in the tests.

I see no reason to upgrade from 18w on Pixel 4a to 25w on s23, which they don't even give !!

Battery life is my main concern with Android devices. Criticize apple for all the closed system but their optimization is top class.

They cannot afford to play their game.

It's like comparing Hyundai to Mercedes.
I'm talking about brand recognition and status, not quality of the product.

Mercedes can afford itself to make shitty overpriced products due to enormous brand image, while Hyundai has to fight for every possible customer with whatever it takes - because they are the underdogs in this parallel.

If you want to compare, Samsung should be compared with its Android competitors- Xiaomi,Oppo and Vivo. Each and every one of them are releasing clearly superior flagships year by year

What a pathetic spec sheet. For the first time Xiaomi has a clear win over Samsung in specs.
13 is superior to s23, 13 pro is clearly superior to s23+. I bet the same for for 13 Ultra.

What is more, comparing specs from generation to generation, I see no sound reason for any s10(+) owner (or s20,21) to make the jump.
Snapdragon is the only obvious reason for us Europeans, not much for the rest who already enjoyed Snapdragon for years.

So I asked how making phone vibrate whenever person touches screen improves user experience, no a swer was given obviously.

                                      🤣

200 mah battery increase only? I'm not sure that'll be enough after the abysmal battery life of S22.
