I was hoping for at least aptX Adaptive let alone Lossless but it's likely only going to support aptX vanilla or HD. There's essentially no way of getting HiFi audio quality from the newest flagship on the market, we'll have to wait for the Sony Xperia 1-V this summer.

Have a Note 10 plus 3 years now and I know soon I will have to upgrade but the problem is I don't know what to upgrade to. They stopped the Note line and replaced it with a Note clone called Ultra and now its the price of an IPhone doesn't have a memory card slot and base Ram is 8GB. I normally wait a year before I buy a flagship bu5 the S22 Ultra is still expensive and now the 23 will be exorbant. Don't know what to do but will hold on to my Note 10 plus as long as possible

Samsung normally gives you generations ahead tech in their phones. It’s not the best software like apple but great hardware.

So I find it confusing that some of the specs like the audio and connectivity isn’t leading but following.

Nick Tegrataker, 19 Jan 2023If anywhere on the lens isn't sharp enough to resolve ... more100% correct. It is not lossless, it is just better than digital a bit, but not lossless. 200mpix is waaaay beyond the refraction point for such small lenses, so there is no physical way, for each pixel to provide useful information about the image details. Just go to any portal, that is testing lenses for DSLRs or mirrorless cameras. With closing the F stop, the level of the detail rises, then stops, and then it is degrading, Why? because the opening in the lens is so small, the diffraction of the light is starting to play a role. And this opening is greater, than these small lenses that we have in smartphones. So 200 is just a number, that plays with the customers imagination. Nothing more, or nothing less. https://www.cambridgeincolour.com/tutorials/diffraction-photography.htm on the very bottom there is a calculator. Set the sensor size, check "Set circle of confusion* based on pixels?", set pizels to 200, F stop and click calculate. And please keep in mind, that the calculations are done for perfect conditions, where the material used for lenses does not affect resolution at all, while it does. At least 4 pixels will have more or less the same information. So again, 200 mpix in the smartphone world it is a marketing BS.

No sign of apt-x adaptive in the spec sheet - this is unacceptable in an Android flagship phone, as it hobbles the use of the Galaxy phone with so many Bluetooth headsets.

A hard pass for me. Basically the same phone with incremental update of the internals. I'm waiting for fold 5 which supposedly will fix all the shortcomings of 4

Only the main camera is getting upgraded (to a sensor of the same size as last year's)? That's disappointing.

Samsung is clearly pushing for higher MP rather than actually increasing the sensor size, this really isn't what they are supposed to be doing if they really want to catch up with the competition.
