Anonymous, 18 Jan 2023Name one that has a 10x periscope telephoto, a 1440 screen,... moreHuawei P40 Pro+ from 2020 had basically all that but a 1200p 90hz screen which at the time Samsung could only do 1080p 120hz or 1440p at 60hz. (the way they designed it made it better viewing than my pixel 6 pros 1440p, way better clarity) far better camera and video performance on all cams which had bigger sensors than equivalent sensors on current phones and the 200mp cam on the s23 ultra, with 1080p recording at 1920fps/720p at 7680p, telephoto (3x) with a periscope (10x) and a useable depth sensor on the back that still produces better bokeh pics than any phone out, a proper biometrics ToF sensor for secure face unlock with depth for the selfie and hand gestures too.

Electromagnetic under display speaker for far better call quality than any phone currently. An NM sd card slot too for all those people, a better desktop experience too that used the phone as a mouse pad, MHL out, pretty sure DP too.

66w wired charging, 50w wireless with i think 27w reverse wireless charging. Also ceramic body which is far stronger and more premium than aluminium in galaxy products. Only thing it missed was stereo speakers, don't know why they didn't use the under display speaker like the p30 series and current Sony tvs.

Oh also a shout out to the honor magic4 pro that has those features and more (like ultrasonic fingerprint with biometric unlock and a 1920hz pwm screen).

Such a minor upgrade, guess I’ll settle 😛 for OnePlus 11 this time.

There doesnt seem to be any camera performance difference between the s23 and its predecessor? I was waiting to see if the camera was any better before deciding whether to buy the s22 with all the good deals and freebies too or waiting for a better camera in the s23.
