22 January 2023
When it comes time to get a new phone, how fast would you want it to do a full 0-100% charge? What about fast wireless charging?

Smart opinion, 23 Jan 2023"People who do use that feature, can just buy a phone ... moreNeither is all around better than the other one, some phones are better in some aspects, others are better for other reasons. Every person has different needs just accept that. I work at a phone store, I have seen many Samsung A series frozen, especially the A33 and A53, and some S22 Ultra. Oh, well aside from that I do have a Galaxy S8 and I really liked it with Samsung Experience UI on it, the moment they updated it to One UI, I switched to an iPhone ( SE 2020 ), I know not the best option, but I didn't want a huge phone at that time. After 1 year of usage and charging it with the original 5W, my battery healt went down to 86% at which point I had to switch to something else, or change the battery. But I got bored of iOS anyways so I bought something else instead.

Main thing is that I don't like One UI and I also just wanted/want a phone that not many people have in my country, vivo phones aren't officially sold here, so I got myself a vivo.

I mean.. that's literally the reason why most of people buy Samsung over chinese junk. Even without those features, people still choose Galaxy A Series over chinese brands anyway 🤭

How long do you need to accept the fact that Samsung/iPhone is better than chinese brand?

By accepting it, you would find peacefulness every time you read news about increasing marketshare of Samsung/iPhone, like it always does every year.

People here are kind of dumb. If you understand how batteries and charging works, you'd know that ' Bigger battery with slower charging is better than smaller battery with fast charging'

Most people wouldn't use the benefits of USB 3.0 or 3.1, so why bother with the extra costs. People who do use that feature, can just buy a phone that has it. Like the vivo X90 Pro and Pro+, both of them have USB 3.2 and they are both chinese hmm didn't think that was possible did you? Oh and btw Xiaomi does have worldwide stores, they do repairs as well and they sell more phones than Samsung almost anywhere.

The gauss bell shows that the average is in the middle, are you comfortable being an average person? I for one like to use my critical thinking skills and see that perhaps what the majority WANTS is not really what the majority NEEDS. What we really NEED are removable batteries to become the norm just like old times, so you can swap them whenever the situation arises.

Also, "vast minority" is an oxymoron, they contradict each other, if it is so "vast" then how come it is a "minority"? Not a very "Smart opinion" for you to have.

I work 12 hours a day, I wake up and I'm basically on the way, I get home, plug in my phone for 10 minutes so it will charge up to a 100%, while I take a shower and then I go to sleep, that's pretty much my daily routine. I know overnight charging would always be an option, but I did that for 1 year with my Galaxy S8 and then same thing with my iPhone SE (2020), both of these phones would be unusable for a daily driver, because neither of them last more than half a day. When they were brand new they both lasted a day.
