When it comes time to get a new phone, how fast would you want it to do a full 0-100% charge? What about fast wireless charging?

ermis, 23 Jan 2023id rather have longer battery life than faster charging.if you mean throughout your usage of the phone (100% to 1% for example) that's fine really! Like same here. We are only just fed up of people not getting to the point, but yes there are many phones that prioritize on more battery life these days...

        IpsDisplay, 23 Jan 2023You are my saviour I literally just downloaded this app ... moreFun fact: In One UI 4 and up, Samsung introduced the feature "Battery Protect" that basically disconnects the battery and the charger becomes power source when the battery is at 85%. But, it is very useful, because if i charge the battery at 88% for example, and activate the toggle for the feature, the battery is not charging anymore and i can use the phone connected to the charger without worrying about overcharging or maintaning the same voltage for longer periods of time. (I did a small test seeing the battery voltage value from CPU-Z in some periods of time when using the phone in this mode, seeing that the voltage is lowering a bit). It's very useful in DeX Mode for long sessions of use, by the way.

I usually go for flat displays but lately been thinking of getting the infinix phantom x2, as it comes with a cool case in the box and a powerful processor. That way I can also try out super fast charging and a curved display for the first time

              Graphene is very expensive.

                1. Your chinese phone doesnt have IP68 rating (man IP68 is nothing just a costly gimmick feature where no phopne manufacturer will give you water damage warranty even Samsung got fined for misleading water resistance ads by Australia government) Overpriced gimmick are useless. Waterproof case does lot betterjob and at alliexpress cost just 2 bucks.
                2. Still uses USB 2.0 (Samsung and Apple still uses 20W charging compared to 210 by Xiaomi or 240 by Realme) For transfering jsut few files USB 2.0 makes no difference compared to USB 4.0 it will take just few seconds. And for large data files can i ask a question??? How often you transfer for example 100GB of data at once???
                3. Doesnt use gorilla glass victus. 5D 9H creen protector dies better tricks for just 2 bucks. This is irelevant. Quality leather book case will do a better job than Victus. Droping a phone on concrete without a leather book case but with GG Victus will break my screen. Dropping my phone in closed leather book case but having no GG Victus will make no damage to my phone. Your statement is useless.
                4. Doesnt have telephoto lenses (Most chinese phones with pricetag of 300+ uses telephoto stop making own wrong claims)
                5. Bad software support with cheap looking UI (IOS and Samsung UI is nothing just bloatware which will slows down your phone eats significant ammount of storage and does nothing extra all apps given by samsung are already there from google and are a lot better) Best OS is pure android experience without any garbage called UI.
                6. Lack of worldwide official stores. (This does not matter since official store compared to something casual have no difference) Most large electronics stores sells most brand accesories and over a internet most other accesories can be bought it does not matter at all. Your statement is totally wrong here.

On the other hand my top 5 list consists of phones that I currently have and switch between. Speaking of switching, I'm gonna do just that rn. lol

                    I remember many phones with cruved screens aside from it:

                    -Xiaomi Mi 11 - 13 Pro

                    -Pixel 7 Pro

                    and those are recent ones inclduing the 7 pro

                    -Realme 10 Pro Plus

                    oh and the recently released ZTE Nubia Z50, very curved screen

                    -Vivo X90

                    at leats that's all the cruved screens phones I remember now...

I have a couple of Moto X Force rn, but I've used a Moto X Play as well. The Style has almost the same design I believe, the cool thing about it being the colourful curvy back and a headphone jack on the top middle of the frame and it has a QHD display as well I think

I always wanted a Motorola Z2, but there is only one place near me that sells it, or rather they have 1 for a lot of money. I do have a Blackberry Z10 tho, and some Motorola phones, Nexus 6 for example which I bought to watch youtube on it, I also had a Motorola X Style (in red!) which I used for a month in 2021 just to test it, but then it got stolen from me so I bought another one in boring black, which I then dropped.. screen shattered and the digitizer died, so I bought another one in red again which I keep locked up in my room.

Should've gotten that one instead of Z10 which I used to sideload Android apps into. Apart from that, I had several Nokia feature phones, like the 105, 216, 230 and the last one being 8110 4G which looked interesting but was laggy af
                              The nokia Android ones I had were 6.1 (bought 3 of them for that sleek aluminium body) and several motorolas as well. But out of all the phones I owned, the favourite has to be one of the Sony phones I used years earlier, Xperia SP, with it's lights bar at the bottom of was such a pleasure to watch it change colours
                              And then I have a OnePlus 5 and a moto Z2 currently which I plan to turn into a show piece or something because some moto phones are so beautiful, the Nexus 6 I had long ago was also one of them. Unfortunately, I used to sell most phones and only recently have started to collect them. Hoping to make collection of at least 20

Currently have about 4 smartp... moreOh, don't even get me started on how many feature phones I have, most aren't that interesting, but I have a modified orange 3310, different buttons and even slightly different OS as well, then again these were common back in the days. I am mostly proud of the 2 Blackberry Privs that I have in my smartphone collection and maybe my Nokia 9 PureView, which is still fast but man that fingerprint scanner really isn't good. lol

I could upload a picture and send a link too, but that's not allowed here so I can't. Some believe me, some don't. Not sure why I would claim to have 30+ phones, there is nothing cool about, I just like collecting them.
