For flagships Snapdragon all regions is best

I think Exynos SoC might be a good choice for really low price flagship killers as it's Samsung own in house chipset it might be possible too do this cheaply

Anonymous, 20 Jan 2023I agree with this But let's talk about Exynos SoC her... moreYeah true this is a meaningful improvement that was badly needed on Samsung smartphones

Having the best overclocked Snapdragon processor for all regions that's a step in the right direction

It's a shame Samsung galaxy phone don't have a cooling system
As Samsung cheap out on cooling that's a huge let down

My other my complaints are with the ultra line of smartphones made by Samsung

Samsung makes there's amazing designed xcover 5 smartphone with even removable battery's

but on the ultra line it's just a shameless rip of apple iPhone hole punch screens too no headphones jack or SD card slot

All things Samsung used too make fun of apple for but now Samsung has no mind of there own and just copied apple mostly because money 🤑 perfit

The lack of changer in box is the worsed of them all I sure hope people at least get too keep there SIM card slot

Anonymous, 19 Jan 2023the only comment possible to a blind person like you is LOL... moreUseless and long comment. And no. People care about updates. They are giving improvements and rarely any issues. MIUI fast? Not true at all. I've used both with the same cpu. Xiaomi is miles slower. And not enjoyable to use like One UI. For iOS it is different. But not for me. I don't like that limits like when you need something and find it a challenge to do in iOS which you can do in Android easily.

I am still waiting for the day Samsung will make a phone to remember. The only manufacturer that has a good update feedback (withoud slowing down your old device) is Iphone. There was also Huawei in flagship models and i still believe Huawei would have killed the market if the ban would have not been aplied. I still own a Huawei 20pro these days and still going quite well, last update came in second half of last year (Emui12/ Android 12).For a 2017 smartphone, that`s impressive considering that Huawei sales plumetted after the ban. i would buy another Huawei with my eyes closed if the ban will be lifted. The quality of materials and battery exceeds almost all other brands. That is what is expected from Samsung. A balanced phone to remember and still be liked/loved after 5 years.

But let's talk about Exynos SoC here with more heat than you discussed about with no superior internal cooling like a 20k rpm fan on Red Magic 8 Pro and even no passive cooling like thermal paste or copper coik heat pipe when it gets teardown, it's also less performance

At least i'm very glad this new S23 variant will finally have all region/worldwide Snapdragon chipset that i've been waiting for this since 2019

You must accept the fact that Samsung is a premium brand who creates best flagship, and you will find peace everytime you read news or article about samsung selling most units of new Android flagships like it does every year.

Daemon Targaryen, 19 Jan 2023I saw reviews for the Red Magic 8 Pro and Snapdragon 8 Gen ... moreNubia red magic phones

Are very well built with good cooling system designed and built around high end processor too get the maximum performance out of them

The reason the temperature are good on the red magic 8 pro & pro+
Is because of the extreme 20.000 Rpm built in fan's

This is faster than a Detta fan made for full size desktop computer workstation but in a Nubia red magic phone

I saw a video of a 15.000 rpm Detta fan wow it's powerful super fan

The red magic gaming smartphones are amazing there real monsters in the smartphone market

Samsung has a lot too learn from them
Nubia shows us how a good phone is made

I highly doubt Samsung can handle the temperature control as no built in fan's or fan speed control with Samsung galaxy flagship

So most likely overheating problems will happen as flagship processor are hot and need for active cooling system requirements

Gonna wait for the review for this one.

If you prefer having buggier MIUI with less updates then it's your business. Not me. And it's not possible to discuss all that supports Samsung brand value against chinese brands here. I would.

Well, it may certainly depend on the country but I've never seen such a stat and anyone who does any sort of banking/shopping/MFA/ect on their device almost certainly wants updates. They may not know it unless you pointedly ask them about these types of apps and keeping them secure, but I'm willing to bet most do care.

I owned multiple xiaomi and Samsung phones.. like I compared my mi 9t pro vs note 10 plus sd855(updated to latest 2023 softwares) and found Samsung oneui is quite sluggish when scrolling through apps like playstore and YouTube while the miui from redmi 9t pro is much smoother..Samsung only good in camera software and 5 years updates. Besides that it's overpriced

But in non-benchmark apps, it still clocks down after 1-2 minutes. Absolutely insane thermal management by Samsung. And 60 Hz is forced in games, making touch latency awful. You have a decent SoC (865+) and a 120 Hz display, but Samsung does not let you use it when it matters.

                                .
90% of people don't give a shit to updates and most of them think its better to not update because they will slow phones or change things they don't want to change, and this is valid to ALL brands.
The people that come to me to repair their phones only want things that work since they open the box and last quick for a good 3 or 4 years and nothing more because that's the time the original battery start to fail.
                                .
Pay attention to smoothness of the systems and Samsung is not good in that area even at this level of phone.
Just read what long term reviews inform about that and check smoothness comparisons with other flagship phones like Xiaomi or Oneplus for example.
                                .
"For everyone else, the 12 Pro is incredibly fast and consistently so. In terms of smoothness, it comes in second best out of all devices we've reviewed long-term so far. The crown stays with the OnePlus 10 Pro for now, but the Xiaomi 12 Pro isn't very far behind, it's just ever so slightly less smooth. It's highly unlikely you'll notice unless you can use both side by side, but coming from a Samsung - even a high-end 2022 model - there is a noticeable lack of jitteriness and stutters." by GSMarena Xiaomi 12 Pro long term
                                .
"I'm an iOS veteran and I came to the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra from the Galaxy S21 Ultra. I found OneUI a bit choppy compared to iOS - there is a very slight pause after every swipe, which doesn't happen on iOS. We're talking milliseconds here, barely noticeable, in fact not noticeable after an hour and only if you have the two OSes side by side - but there is a slight delay on OneUI compared to iOS.
MIUI behaves much like iOS in that it delivers animations and actions smoothly and doesn't need that millisecond to catch its breath afterward. For example - you open up the Settings menu, swipe back to the Homescreen, swipe back to the Settings, and immediately begin scrolling the listed items - no delays - it's all responsive and feels instantaneous." by GSMarena Xiaomi 11 Ultra long term
                                .
Samsung sell due to brand name because they are in the market in multiple areas since 25 years ago (well known since that).
                                .
There is a lot of youtubers and generic websites that (review phones) were payed to speak about phones they never used and speak about things brands write to them. Multi million dollar brands pay to be advertised in the personal profiles.
Last time we saw that happening was some weeks ago with google scandal about their pixels were intagrammers were payed to talk good things and they never used the phone.

higher fps will help lower input-lag, despite display only locked at 60hz, plus since s20 it always have 240hz touch response rate, so combined could improve input-lag further

anyway if game locked at 60hz, then simply just lock game to 60fps, then most likely it help with throttling, so what the issue ?

and why it effect touch deadzone ? its not related, touch digitizer that handle touch input
if ur tablet throttling to that level (massively lagging) then most likely something wrong with ur tablet dude, u should take it for service or try factory reset it

The brand value of Samsung is SO BIG, that make most of people dont care about the foundry of its chip.

Most of people buy Samsung because it has the popular Samsung brand +One UI+ great aftersales support (service+software).

Most of chinese brands need 30 years to reach the same level as Samsung today.
