Let's hope this would continue for another few years, down to zero for Xiaomi.

Xiaomi Good specs, cheap And Good quality too BUT it all goes thumbs-Down to software TOO many bugs and no updates etc. End up useless. so I return to oneplus and samsung. haha

I guess this has to do with "not so great" RN11 series and then people started buying higher mid-range phones, where Samsung FE series, Nothing Phone 1 steal more scope... and then Motorola and IQOO stole more consumers in 2022

I see that for 2023, Xiaomi has lost it's core strategy of low pricing, as their RN12 series is way too expensive, selling from INR 18k to INR 33k, that can kill them further

NICKL4US, 20 Jan 2023Then they have the audacity to boast about selling 3million... moreThey never claimed selling those millions of RN12 series, they flaunted sales value worth INR 300 Cr this time

This is why everybody is trying to pivot their business, aka electric vehicle. The smartphone business is getting mature and saturated. All the companies do now is just trading marketshares within brands.

What will you get for 450$ in the Czech Republic. Xiaomi redmi note 11 Pro, Xiaomi 11T, Xiaomi 12 Lite, Galaxy A53, realme 9 Pro plus, vivo v23, Motorola edge 30 and edge 30 neo and pixel 7. Vivo v25, Oneplus Nord 2T, Redmi note 12 pro or realme 10 Pro plus will cost you more.

Samsung seems to have improved it's mid range lineup, and it needs to keep working on that.
Also, after sales and customer support is such an important thing. Cheaper phones in many brands have terrible after sales.

Instead of you guys to defend xiaomi. You people should demand better software support. I mean c'mon 😒

I know nothing of the Indian market, but when you release a Note 11 model with 8 variants, dont be surprised if people get annoyed trying to figure out what they need and instead pick something else instead.

Having a lot of options can be harmful.

Xiaomi is simple, if the specs are bad the sales will go down, if the specs are good and cheap it will smoke others.

Samsung is king. Once a premium brand, always be a premium brand.👍

NICKL4US, 20 Jan 2023Then they have the audacity to boast about selling 3million... moreWell, its obvious that the Redmi Note 12 numbers is NOT included in this report bcos the report only took total sales numbers until end of 2022 while the Redmi was launched in 2023. And Xiaomi didnt say they sold 3 million units. Go read again, Xiaomi said they sold 3 billion rupees worth of Redmi Note 12 series.

2024 will return to growth? If sales fall this year we will be told 2025 will return to growth. If sales fall next year, we will be told again 2026 will return to growth. Analyst always put a positive spin even if the story is negative.

Anonymous, 19 Jan 2023What? . Xiaomi dominated 3 of 4 quarters and you are sayi... moreBruhh for 400 euro in India you'll get far better phone than those miui crapware. Even google pixel 6a & 6 cost 350$ & 450$ respectively.

Not saying anything about their hardware which is best in segment (price to performance ratio).

Their recent software update and phone dying fiasco has hampered their reputation which prompted them to provide 2 years warranty on poco F4 and extended 6 months warranty on poco x3 series.

They have lost their customer's faith. That's it. Also don't forget their shitty customer support.

Yukvgffh, 19 Jan 2023Xiaomi thinks only low prices and specs matter and forgot s... moreThen they have the audacity to boast about selling 3million Redmi note 12 series phones 😂 which is obviously fake. In reality no one is asking about RN12 series & it's always in stock unlike 2-3yrs back when most of their phones used to go outta stock due to high demand.

Poco x3 series , RN10 series & miui 13 phon dead issue as well as shitty UI has massively hampered their repo.

Nowadays xiaomi just becoming more like xiaomeme and their memeui. Lol.

Samsung is miles better now. Forget about lag unless you use too weak phone.

On other hand, Samsung and moto have been making lots of good phones in entry level and mid-range
