This chip wasn't the best - but it was good enough and it wore that as a badge of honor.

SD 625 is one of my favorite SoCs that have powered the smartphones. I owned moto g5 plus with SD 625 and it was one of my favorite smartphones that I owned.

I had the predecessor, the Snapdragon 615. It may have been because it was in a Sony phone, which has a stock-looking but resource-hungry launcher. But the performance was bad, even worse than a years old iPhone. And the 8xA53 bullsh*t processors are still being sold 8 years later. They were always bad, and will always be bad. Nobody should buy anything with this core configuration. One A73 core is the bare minimum, otherwise the phone will be outperformed by 2013 flagships.

Still running great after 7 years in Xiaomi Mi A1.
