And by the way you refer it as "Android wrapper", makes not to take your comments seriously.

Yes, I agree India should create one mobile OS which the world can use it.

We can correct the narrative as it is not an Operating System, but just another skin like OneUI, Oxygen OS, etc. whose distro is based on AOSP.

They should give these os to IT cell .

Anonymous, 22 Jan 2023Bharos means TrustBharos means nothing. The word you are looking for is bharosa (the A at the end is significant).

Should have called it JingOS, lost opportunity :(

FYI, for example I know of a FinTech guy who was creating android wrappers for Xiaomi handsets as a hobby while interning for Wells Fargo. This IIT circus show has done exactly that which isn't really too tough an ask, they only forked the AOSP base to create a wrapper and and are now taking credit for the whole thing like they invented the OS from scratch, invented DDG, created those over the counter "privacy" apps, etc. Pathetic.
But most of the mouthbreather voterbase WILL get fooled by this BSing so...yeah, mission accomplished?

Also, "Privacy" for the current Indian regime = they are free to look into your bedrooms while you cannot even ask them where the local taxes are going. Rules for me not for thee (tm).

Android is not just an OS but also an ecosystem where developers from around the world contribute for free. So more than OS, India needs its own ecosystem where developers can work on open source projects and create softwares and OS. More than mere an OS we need India's own GitHub alertnative

So basically calling your OS "fragile one time use operating system" is nothing short of a meme
Jhand= like do I have to even explain, majority of northern Indian do use that word in context like "jhand mai jai yeh ...." (".... Can go to hell" if translated) 🤣
If you aren't from northern and western parts then IG I can understand why you didn't get it 😅

IIT is a central government-owned public technical institute, this is a red flag in itself, this OS is probably loaded with spyware that is going to send all your personal information straight to the government.
