Now that AI is publicly available we ll definitely see more of these what we won't is a stable one with mature firmware. That requires a lot of copies running at same time over the satellite connected internet.

If my country made a super safe android vork, like seriously safe.
And the default wallpaper was the flag of my country
I could never take the product seriously at all just because of that.
So unneeded.

isnt this just Lineage OS but made in India?????
When will they learn that forking something is not making a "new" OS?

For all commenting here that they won't use it, you're not the target audience and just read the article completely once. It is for businesses and government organizations and most likely won't be released for the public use.

New mobile OS but Android fork?? That's ain't new OS 🤦🏻♂️ If new OS, it will be entirely different OS and not based or fork on some already existing OS 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ Huawei Harmony OS mobile is the same lie as this BharOS. Both of them are Android fork. Why can't they be like Microsoft with Windows Phone OS? 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

JG01, 22 Jan 2023I hope it does ! it will be more entertaining than what we ... moreBloatware will be there, trust me. But not as much. Do you think they will be able to match the original BB security level? Before they converted to Android. I actually still have a Z10 in my drawer.

Olympus Oms, 21 Jan 2023Does this mean the ui will dance and sing all the time? I hope it does ! it will be more entertaining than what we have today. However looking at the app list, it will be more security as it won't have unnecessary apps and bloatware.

There have been plenty of custom ROMs before this one that are very privacy and security-oriented, such as /e/OS, LeOS, and especially Kali NetHunter.

After the incidence of Ringing Bell phone and the cheating by Micromax in the name of India, I have lost my trust.
If this is genuine then I wish them all the best.
Questions still remain - who and how will this OS be uploaded? Availability? For what minimum hardware requirements?
