The most refined Galaxy S phone ever. S22 Ultra wasn't that good because of a weak processor, this one is almost the same except the processor will be fantastic and they perfected every detail. If you have S9 or older, now is the time to upgrade.

Goddamn this will be a fine upgrade from my old S8 Active. I am alittle bummed that my storage will go down even with the 1TB model but I think I'll manage.

But honestly each year isn't that big a deal, phones are so much more expensive than 10 years ago, so the value in upgrading isn't there. Lastly it's more exciting upgrading every few years so you see a decent change for your money.

There is nothing eye-catching about this phone or its specs. With pixel 7 doing so well, I don't think people will buy this phone at such exorbitant prices considering the shaky economy and inflation. Samsung is in for a bad run this year.

ALU to Cache, 23 Jan 2023imagine paying 1200 dollars for a phone that's all pur... moreSamsung's display has always been 8-bit panel with no support for FRC (Meaning it cannot even emulate the 10-bit mode like how 8+2-bit displays do). It supports wide colour space but doesn't have enough depth to display the gradients in 10-bit HDR videos without banding artifacts, which is very unfortunate, to say the least.

Not gonna lie, while the Snapdragon variant of the S series had a pretty decent camera for years, the ones on the Exynos variant were almost always garbage detail rendition-wise.
"Ram Management is beating iPhones for years in most tests"
If it's barely edging out a phone that has half the RAM capacity in terms of the number of apps that can be held in the background, then it's not really "beating" anything.

A win through the use of politics can only make it thus far. Samsung, Apple and Google knows it, thus their aggressive marketing. I foresee these 3 brands will start to fall in the next 5 years.
