I’m glad i’ve got an iphone 14 pro instead of waiting for s23+, same price hike outside of US, better specs in screen, cameras, and equally good flagship-grade chipset.

I wouldn't be surprised if in the near future Samsung ends up wondering why the S23 series is selling less while the S22 series is selling more, at least in Europe.

It's funny how americans complain about expensive healthcare but they don't have VAT on consumer goods including electronics or even cars. Europeans pay more in lifetime in the end. And governments are the worst money managers, this was proved many times. I'd rather keep my money and manage it myself like americans can than having my idiotic governmemt manage it for me when we don't get the free (or good) healthcare anyway.

Had to replace the battery of my s10e, a messy job (don't use chinese 3rd part batteries, had to replace it twice), but after that.. feels like new, and I don't want to spend double the money on a new phone than I spent in the s10e (which was pretty expensive btw)

blue, 25 Jan 2023If the Pixel was sold worldwide...It kind of is (unofficially). But yes, official service centers and stores would be great. But if the local seller offers warranty, I wouldn't mind an unofficial selling if there's a ~500EUR gap between 7 pro and 23 ultra.

One ridiculous thing - USD to EUR rate is going down, but Europe is the one paying more. It should be the Americans paying more.
I was thinking for a while I would buy S23. Now I keep my S20FE for some time longer...

I was looking forward to trade in my S22Ultra for a new S23 Ultra this year becuase of the snapdragon chipset, but this price increase, seeing those fotos posted here on gsmarena and if they are not going to give us some discount at preorders, than my S22U will last until it will die. I guess Pixel 8 pro will be the best option this year even without trade-in options here in Spain

There were times I wanted to have a flagship phone. That was the only way to have nice screen, decent camera, good sound and fluid Android.
Past tense.
For 1/2 or even 1/3 of S23's prices I can have OLED, stereo sound, OIS camera, pure Android, great chip like SD 778+... Some of them even have 3,5 mm jack and/or micro SD card slot, telephoto and/or autofocus ultrawide camera...
Oh yeah, none of these phones are overheating and throttling.
And I don't get a hart attack whatching them flying to the floor.
So Samsung, nice to see you're showing some muscles. Now, bring back some awesomness to the A series, like it was in A52, A52S and A72...

Ok so more expensive? I will buy competition, pretty happy with the Vivo X80 Pro, only thing that i miss is UI animations are somewhat weird ( too fast sleek ).
Once samsung starts pricing the products accordingly we talk about coming back.
