So samsung justified partly the removal of headphone jack, by improving haptics. And now samsung is downgrading haptics as well.

Less advanced vibration motor?????? Why the hell would they even touch that part of the phone 💀
And again, Samsung has NO reasons to make the prices higher in Europe other than stealing even more money.

Lots of downgrades, just to push the Ultra variant sales. They at this point better stop calling a base variant as a flagship, when all of the flagship feature are only reserved for the top models
Some missing features are understandable, like a better or multiple camera setup and biger battery because of size limits, but what was stopping them from putting Wi-Fi 7, UFS 4.0 storage and a QHD display on the base variant. On top of that, prices increased. I guess I'll just get the pixel 7 or 6a. Maybe even the Nothing phone. Flagships are not worth it, especially the base variants

Lack of UWB is a big mistake. I still have a preorder on the small one in place but I won't follow through, will wait for Google to release the AirTag competitor to see what's up.
Would've been an instant buy if the small one was as good as the "+" variant.

128 gb storage - ✔️
8 gb ram -... moreLet me add :
Less than stellar refresh rate (48-120Hz) no dolby vision or 1B colors.
No macro mode / AF on UW cam, same specs for 4 generations. is it so hard???
Some kind of focus assisting feature (like laser AF or ToF / LiDAR cam).

Smartphones sales - falling all over the world
Smartphone makers - let's keep making our phones even worse
This is the reason sales are falling, it's not supply issues, it's not the nonexistent "chip shortage, it's not Covid. It's simply that phones are getting worse and worse while also getting more expensive

There were good times with 1 flagship model before capitalism figured out how to abuse human brain weaknesses. Painful to see

In my point of view s23 should exist only in one configuration, in top spec and that is ultra & in only one size ,other variants should have entire different names!

Should've put in WiFi 7 at least. I wonder if the base variants are just to make the plus and ultra better in comparison, so the customer ends up buying those instead
Samsung trying to Confucius once again

I've seen this concept in many phones released with Snapdragon 8 gen 2 :( 128 GB gets UFS 3.1, others get 4.0

May as well drop the 128GB variant entirely. Sony has long dropped the 128GB internal storage for Xperia 1 since the 2020 Mark 2, despite still giving microSD card support. It won't be long before Sony do the same for Xperia 5.
