Anonymous, 31 Jan 2023Talking of A series, one thing Samsung is absolutely awesom... moreI even love some BBK phones, for example is some of vivo's devices, some iqoo series, some oneplus quite old series (eventough oneplus never released their devices in my country), my old phone is realme x3 super zoom and actually i like it quite alot, but to be honest i hate many ads, thats why i moved to samsung, if the BBK phones stop the ads then its my turn back, but xiaomi is not on the list 😅

Original-Jamaican, 01 Feb 2023Seems like the US is trying to destroy Huawei once and for ... moreActually USA wants to directly attack China and Honor and the Chinese brands are next.
Definately USA won't allow to put Google Services on any Chinese brands and includes Motorola (since is part of Lenovo), unless they forces Motorola to be another full USA brand.

Huawei is everything wrong with open software. I had a very old Huawei phone years ago that they promised to release the aosp code for. They did not. Had to jailbreak it to unlock the bootloader. They threatened legal action when the crack was released. My current oppo find X3 pro has unlock bootloader option in general settings. Huawei are getting everything they deserve.

I believe only minority people are sad about this news, especially chinese ultra nationalist.

Globally most of people are happy with their Samsung/iPhone, and some people choose cheaper alternatives chinese brands.

MATE 30 PRO, 31 Jan 2023[ "No other Android manufacturer does that" ] ... moreAndroid 12 in 2023? Lol.

Even midrange Galaxy A51 from 2019 got Android 13 last year.

But it's understandable because this is a dead brand Huawei.

Seems like the US is trying to destroy Huawei once and for all. The US probably wouldn't mind if they were able to force Huawei to use WAP, GPRS or Edge. Huawei makes some of the best and strongest phones on this planet not to mention their chargers. I have a Huawei P9 Plus since 2017 and it's still going strong today including the battery and the charger is working fine as well like it did from day one. I owned a couple of Galaxy S and really liked them but they certainly weren't as durable as Huawei and my S5 charger was weak compared to the P9 Plus charger. The S5 charger only lasted for a year and change while the P9 Plus charger is now in its sixth year.

Avon B7, 31 Jan 2023There is no 'absolute' information out there but ... moreYes, this is what I remember now on phonearena, that 14mm part was what I came across on that site and forgot about it.
It seems like its no coincidence that only a matter of weeks since that partially true rumour spread (3rd jan 23) that the US is further sanctioning Huawei now they are trying to fabricate their own chips.
Although they can only use those 14mm chips in wearables for now, although Huawei have applied for patents for that EUV tech for their own chip manufacturing, so in 2023 we are not likely to see anything but if they can survive this year, tables may turn next year.

back then, everytime when the president of Huawei spoke on the new release of their phones, it was all gibberish. to me, he was the man with few words, but damn sure enough, all his phones were beasts !

im still using the last P series with google, the P30 !

                        free my ninja Huawei !

Gnusmas, 31 Jan 2023Huawei P60 3G+ ahahahahahahThe issue is that even 3G is being shut down in US. They don't want any chinese product and force to use Apple only which is starting to feel inferior now compared to flagship Qualcomm ones.

Without Chinese companies pushing tech to be better like 80W charging Apple, Samsung, Google would still be using 5W charging the more reason I don't buy any until they catch up 😀. Proud owner of Find X5 blazing fast charging & 360 reliable Networking
