Samsung using the same old marketing trick by paying millions for a well-known person's endorsement. Same inane marketing stunt like BMW paying millions to Hans Zimmer for the awful sound effects on their EVs.

Ridley using the galaxy S23U and retouch with the other professional software in the computer. What's the point? Nothing special, only for marketing.

This is an.old hat advertising trick. I remember some years ago Joseph Gordon Levitt did a commercial for the LG V20 that was shot on that device.

UltraHD, 06 Feb 2023Dynamic island??? Sorry but no one had that before and don&... moreThe 2nd screen of the LG V20 accomplished pretty much the same thing.

              4K@120fps 200Mbps > 8K@30fps 90Mbps

ja1, 06 Feb 2023haha, the hypocrite... isn't he the one who has issues... moreBecause it doesnt matter what he used. Movies are often art, and art is supposed to be consumed in a specific way, intended by the creator. In his case - on a giant screen, with family, friends and other people. Cinema is an experience as much as the movie itself. Its clear that you are rised in solitude of the internet. You have no real friends, no sense of community. And you will never experience it, because you are afraid to leave your home.

I could tell it was from a samsung phone... the blacks and shadows were crushed even after all the pro equipment and post processing. The Sony phone did better for filming when compared to their "shot by xxXXxx phone" marketing tactics... at least there was proper color grading.

Anonymous, 06 Feb 2023i dont like dynamic island and its copied from android😊Which other phone has that useless function?

UltraHD, 06 Feb 2023Dynamic island??? Sorry but no one had that before and don&... moreLol. The idea is completely stolen from the old s10 series pills cutout activities like ring notification and theme around the pill bar. And who cares about that gimmicky dynamic island stuff? Which is unusable without two hands.

ja1, 06 Feb 2023haha, the hypocrite... isn't he the one who has issues... moreIn a way he isn't wrong. Look at the low quality movies made by Netflix. Movie industry produced B grade before but streaming services are at competition, who can make more B grades.
Limited but good quality is the way to go, at least for art.

H, 06 Feb 2023LOL and how many features did Apple copy from Android? AOD... moreDynamic island??? Sorry but no one had that before and don't you dare compare it to Samsung's notification thing. It's not nowhere near close to be the same feature.
It's just that y'all have an issue where Apple does something no one did before and therefore you have to find ,,similar" feature to immediately say that they copied. Sorry not sorry, dynamic feature is not copied.

This flex and using Ridley Scott isn't to measure against his own production and movies its to go against both Apple's Filmed on iPhone Pro series and especially against Xperia 1 series features.

Are you aware that you can change the complete color set via filters without the need for any video-editing afterwards, and even define your own filters? Galaxys have been able to do this for years, long before a fruity copycat company pretended to have invented it by giving it the name photographic styles which actually only works for photos.

Yeah, ok the video looks good, but this certainly didn't hold the impact that Scott's 1984 commercial for Apple held. I found it boring.
