LoneOwl, 08 Feb 2023What king is back?
Who in 2023 is paying a fortune for X... moreWho cares about 150W fast charging or latest SoC, when you can have a Pixel 7 pro for less with better software overall?
Man Pixel 7 is everything else but not better. Who with healthy mind will buy a phone which will use for 7 years if he or she is eglibe from their carriers for new device every 2 years.
Even Apple who is the only company that is actually selling flagships, had decline in sales.
And Apple not selling flagships.
Calling a phone with laughable 128GB disk space only 6GB ram, huge bloatware, tiny battery and no charging in the box plus no support for a propper 120-240W fast charging a flagship is a huge no.
They i mean apple have flagship grade bloatware but thats is.
You cant even change themes in your phone what a garbage is that.
And in 2023 charging with maybe 20W / 2A which in dual cell battery means 10W - 1A for each battery is nonsense dark age ancient garbage technology.

JackDopey, 08 Feb 2023FINALLY! The KING is here (with it's latest gen screen... moreWhat king is back?
Who in 2023 is paying a fortune for Xiaomi flagships?? Yeah, i am sure everyone is waiting to pay over 1000euro for the Xiaomi 13pro, just because its ''cheaper'' than the S23Ultra...
Whats even worse is that these are not even their best flagships, since Xiaomi as usual will release more phones later this year(Ultra, 13T pro etc).
Who cares about 150W fast charging or latest SoC, when you can have a Pixel 7 pro for less with better software overall?
Companies these days seem to try to compete who will release the most expensive phone, despite the fact that overall sales are in decline.
Even Apple who is the only company that is actually selling flagships, had decline in sales.
People nowadays with everything being so expensive in general, are not willing to pay a fortune for a smartphone just to have the latest SoC or more fast charging.

SShock, 08 Feb 2023Their software updating process is slow long term speaking ... moreMan your issue with xiaomi is your issue. Every person have some problems with some brands and then act as a hater and will force others to hate too.
And every brands have some kind of issues in case of Samsung its a huge massive and ram and disk space hugry bloatware One UI which is worst among all other UIs.
Nut i am not here to bash on Samsung just trying to tell you no brand is saint.

yalim, 08 Feb 2023xiaomi must focus more on customer experience like timely a... moreMan xiaomi customer experience is fine they are in every bigger shopping mall here in Slovakia and neighbouring Czech republic.
Same goes for most EU countries.
Software support is fine but since most phones have 2 years of updates and 3 years of security where most users will swap their phone after 3 years of use this really does not matter.
Only Xiami drawback is they arent available everywhere like Apple or Samsung othervise many customers would get a lot better device compared to said brands.
And lastly since most of their flagships are way better its logical they are more expensive.
Even 2 years old MI 11 ultra is way better in camera and photography than newest Apple 14 Pro max or Samsung S23 ultra.
Since this is a fact i really dont know what do you want because for a lower price you get a lot better device.

Who’s gonna throw its money into cheap Xiaomi device which their updates are awful and lots of ads in the interface? Last but not least, the interface sounds like Mario game in 90s.

Cant wait for Xiaomi to price these cool phones for even higher than the S23 series, because that's how popular they think they are in the flagship market. Sigh. Luckily Xiaomi being Xiaomi means their phones should depreciate quickly if this world is still reasonable.

Diavolo , 08 Feb 2023Xiaomi 13 Pro is the king of nothing just a glorified horri... moreThat's a lie. I have Xiaomi Pad 5 for almost a year (replaced my very old Sony Xperia Tablet Z). And it's a great tablet for its price (337 EUR year ago). Not a single issue so far. MIUI is a mater of taste, but I haven't experienced any lagging or crashes. To be honest I had a lot of issues with my old Sony Tablet (lagging, crashes, old Android, so wasn't possible to install some newer apps). Also Pad 5 has very good battery life, great speakers, IPS display is fine for its price... Not sure about updates, will check. But I wouldn't call it garbage device for sure.

They will probably be similar enough in pricing but this will be available in more markets as Vivo has was more limited overseas availability than Xiaomi

AnonD-1044551, 08 Feb 2023Plz xiaomi for the love of God up your software game 🤞I actually really really like Xiaomi's software, I've used Samsung (new and old), Huawei (new and old) HTC, LG, Sony and Motorola and personally Xiaomi has been my favourite.
To rank them on personal taste
Xiaomi
Huawei
Samsung
LG
Motorola
Sony
HTC
But that's the thing, everyone has their own preferences and if it's not for you it doesn't mean it's bad.
