Xiaomi 13 Pro is the king of nothing just a glorified horrible Chinese band name that makes garbage phones and tablets that's the painful truth. Even OnePlus is better than Xiaomi phones now and that says a lot. Xiaomi phones are overpriced and have terribly lagging MIUI software. Xiaomi doesn't even often minimum of 4 years of software updates and 5 years of security updates. We all know who is the real king of flagship smartphones 🍎.🤡😤🙊

FINALLY! The KING is here (with it's latest gen screens, fantastic 1 inch wide & 3x zoom cameras (laughable 2x on the OP 11) and 120w chargers, the battery life too is quite nice for a qHD phone).
Here's hoping they've sorted their manufacturing lines and gotten rid of the fog on lens issues (Yes, I'm talking to you, 12 Pro).
I'm also praying the global version is given better cooling than the Chinese versions.
Also hoping that the vanilla 13 is launched along with the Pro (in India), it'll be an icing on the cake for flat screen, compactness lovers.
This is THE phone to get this year (for people with sane budgets) who do not want to break the bank for the overpriced (stingy T M Roh's) Galaxy phones and are thoroughly averse of OPPO's OnePlus fallacy.
Although I LOVE Samsung and would've really loved to pick one up, it's thoroughly overpriced (and the vanilla models are pathetically handicapped) this year. They even took out the gosh-darn flimsy plastic screen protector that they used to provide applied already on the screens, which lasted for a couple of years at the very least and now selling overpriced screen protectors on their website separately, just like their chargers.
The level of T M Roh's sheer stinginess is unfathomable!!!
Also, although OneUI is fantastic, MIUI isn't a slouch either, they've grown leaps and bounds since their bloatware days and (certainly not needed for everybody) interested parties can always load up the Xiaomi.EU ROMs for a crisp experience, along with the Native Dialer (with call recording) and other optimizations.

Fpr God sake, Xiaomi, stop fooling people about Leica participating in somewhat manufacturing this phone. It's only a filter. Simple filter. I hope more and more people are aware this simple marketing fact.

Why they use the word “ Pro “ ? Does they think that instead of professional cameras the professional photographer will use their smartphone with such a tiny sensor ? 😒

Yes! the "magic triple" for tje camera is great.
That's the only viable formula.
But the price again...It's too high for any non folding phone.
But even more, if the software support is not flagship level. Maybe this is the genertion where XIAOMI steps up on the software front.

At least so far (today is February 8th) there is nothing. Xiaomi es very slow to deliver in Europe. Sometimes there are already 2 new series announced in China when 2 years old model finally reaches Europe.

yalim, 08 Feb 2023xiaomi must focus more on customer experience like timely a... moreTheir software updating process is slow long term speaking for getting new Android versions consistently and reliably. And their support is not just useless, it's next to non existent. The feedback hub is especially a joke. You report a bug or issue and to every single one of them they just send you invite to their "insider" version or whatever it's called. I don't want to be insider and use some early build versions, I just want you to fix the damn bug I just reported. Oh and Xiaomi's Cloud service is the pinnacle of nonsense. I haven't used Xioami phone for a few years and upon coming back, I realized my Xiaomi account was locked because of inactivity. Wanna know the fun part? You CAN'T unlock it. In ANY WAY. Asked Xiaomi about it and their answer was "sorry, we can't do anything". What's bizarre is that account is just there. They didn't wipe it to save resources or whatever, no, all data is still on it and I can't delete it or use it. What kind of monumental idiocy is this? It's like they either want you to be a fanboy using their phones forever, but they don't really like you if you decide to own Xiaomi again after years of not using it. Weird and totally Chinese bizarre approach that no one else does but the Chinese. And to be so damn non-flexible about it when user asks about it. Really weird. No wonder I'm looking at Samsung's flagships despite their monumental size. But since Xiaomi wants to price themselves on same level, it's very unlikely I'll pick Xiaomi. Not with weird problems they themselves create. Poco for 300€, whatever, but on a 1200€ phone, it's a massive issue that I most likely won't see on any Samsung phone. Let that sink in Xiaomi.

xiaomi must focus more on customer experience like timely and stable software support, aftersales channel avaliability, spare part avaliability, accessory avaliability.until they fix these major drawbacks, they have to price it 20% cheaper than iphone14plus. it is obvious that, chinese R&D costs are less than half of europe and US costs so,they already sell these flagships too expensive.
