My Concern is the back gonna break with any kind of case on it? I have the S23 Ultra and have 30 days to return it but the Drop test concerns me, will the back Shatter with a case on it? Using a Screen Protector is hard cus few work with just ANY case, and due to past experiences they interfear with using the phone. That the screen isn't very responsive, I know newer phones you can increase touch sensitivity. But again hard to find one that works with ANY case you choose

SShock, 10 Feb 2023Drop tests are pointless unless you have a testing machiner... moreThey do, so do smartphone companies, they all have testing machines that can simulate drops or folds or key presses or screen pressure etc.

its clearly samsung bribe PBK aka paid promotion for 9/10 repair score...DONT FORGET AFTER YOU OPEN ITS BACK CASE NO MORE WATER RESISTANT.
heck even 1 year usage the glue will break and have 0 water resistant

Anonymous, 10 Feb 2023Jerry doesn't do drop tests. PBK doesDrop tests are pointless unless you have a testing machinery that drops phones on identical surface at exact angle 50 times repeatedly. Or doing it in reverse, phone being stationary and object colliding into it, like a ball bearing being dropped through a tube into a screen. This dropping by hand is so flawed it tells me absolutely nothing. Samsung does have such machinery in their testing labs for sure. All R&D centers that make such products do. It's only way to gather any kind of measurable information, hand drops are so random they tell nothing really.

Not defending cracked Ultra here, but it could as well drop at 3 degrees different angle and not crack.

Also what's up with scratching at Moh's scale of 8 and 9? That's sapphire territory. Makes no sense.

                                    Hi everybody
Excuse me, why does it say that this phone is weak?
                                    I searched on the internet
"What is the resistance of Gorilla Glass Victus 2"
And I noticed that its rating is 8-10
why do you say this phone is weak?

Anonymous, 09 Feb 2023I would not dare to use such a big phone without protector.... moreI did have a screen protector in 2018, but after 1 year it slipped off, I carried on (cautiously) without it, checking each day, & I realised that the GG5 had great resistance to micro scratches.
I've been using care free ever since with no problems.

So yeah, probably best to install a protector when brand new & listen out for feedback to decide whether to replace it when it fails.

You will definitely need a screen protector for the original GG Victus (1), it scratches!

GG Victus+, & Victus 2 should be fine without a screen protector (as long as you don't work in construction where 360° dust tight protection is needed) just monitor for any micro scratches from your day to day, and ALWAYS use a case.
