These renders coincide nicely with the recently-leaked live photo of the upcoming phone.

DeepIn2U, 15 Feb 2023Competent OS? Please explain what you really mean by this? ... moreLacking basic functions or still finally getting them is lacking in the competent department.
Still having to go home from an app and then go to system settings to change or fix app settings is insanely lagging behind.

And for Sony stop pulling the old apple fan excuse by just saying it's not a specs list blah blah when it's factually pointed out that something doesn't measure up. I said it was behind in those things because it's behind in them by physical results. Get off your fan horse.

You are right that both are designed to do what they are meant. Be the two biggest money grabbing suppliers.
And don't reply with some crap about other companies are too. Duh... that wasn't argued. They are just doing it to the worst degree.

Both are VERY capable of what they're designed to do, and for all features they've been added to work with the hardware within - X 1 V pending launch and a few reviews and real world use not a spec bench.

If any smartphone product does NOT have a competent feature reach and stable OS with a rich application ecosystem to drive it ... then sales will DROP and it'll be shunned - like ALL blackberry devices!

Competent OS may not be the best description of what you aim to project/mean to say.

Yes, you did. You keep using "decades of tests" when that's not even true. I already addressed your "decades" argument, so stop hiding behind that.

I specifically mentioned the display tech, not just phones, but in general. I repeated this. You need to read responses before you comment back, gook.

Even if I grant you that "decade", that doesn't prove anything.

"You're the one that keeps repeating that implying that a decade of tests are all completely inaccurate."

Again and again, you continue to demonstrate that you lack reading comprehension. I said the tests aren't perfect, not that they are completely inaccurate. Also, it's not a "decade of tests", it's only a few years that can give you what you're looking for.

Just in case you didn't know, a decade is 10 years.

Anonymous, 14 Feb 2023Still not my fault your arrogance got in the way of a faile... more"Still not my fault your arrogance got in the way of a failed point you tried to make that contradicts a decade of tests here."

It's your fault that you can't read properly before responding. There was no failed point made by me, you lack critical thinking skills to look beyond tests.

The only one who displayed arrogance was you. I wasn't the one who immediately made a comment about someone's knowledge, you did. It turns out you were the only one without any knowledge.

You lack logic and critical thinking skills, and so you're deluded into thinking you have an actual argument when you don't, you make yourself look more pathetic.

And I can't see a reason to get either. One over sharpens more than the over sharpening of the other and lacks 3.5 and expandable storage and competent os.

                              1. Thats a lie. Even the S6 surpassed that.
                              2. Thats completely irrelevant for multiple reasons.
                              A. Most other phones were not much brighter and they were still topping sunlight legibility at the time.
                              B. That was phones back then not brand new $1800 and $2500 ones only matching those or older. The $2500 Xperia pro matches the brightness of the 8 year older Galaxy S4. And the others only matched the S6.
