My s22 is having the battery drain/overheating issues too. While checking the battery I noticed that Quick Share is running constantly in the background & I can't disable it. I don't use quick share, but yet it's using more battery than any other app.

I do this to all of my phones. Restrict battery usage. Turning off background. Disabling bloatware on samsung, uninstall on other brands. Doing cmd appops set appname RUN_IN_BACKGORUND ignore. And all of the other stuff which is accessable in settings to disable unnecessary process and even my 4 old phone is running 10 SOT. Samsung is extremely bloatet with apps and services you will never use.

Prakash , 20 Feb 2023When I bought s22 ultra the battery was upto 1.5 days ,but... moreyeah i am thinking the same, only 40/256 GB left on mine. . i work a lot on S22 Ultra do photo editing, video editing for social channels, and for my own website, web chat is connected 24 hrs, YouTube 3 to 4 hrs WhatsApp calling 5 to 6 hrs, I mean so many things are connected. give me good 10 to 11 hrs.. since the memory is nearly full it slows me down. Never had this issue with Huawei Mate 40 Pro. I am on a UK Version.

Guys another cool feature I have noticed on the 5.1 is you can minimize your YouTube videos like you do it in your laptops so that you can do anything else without ur YouTube videos still going on

I've been using Samsung for the last 20 years. This is the worst phone ever in regards to battery life, this S22 ultra can't even get through a morning! To make matters worse,the after sales service is non existent, in spite of having a premium plus package!!

OEMs like most BBK brands, battery life already lasts more than 1 & half a day without battery life saver. They feature turns on when battery goes below 15-20% so that it takes them through the day to charge & when they do the charging is super quick 10 min 0-100% or 30 min.
Unlike Samsung or Google, slow battery anxiety kicks in you literally have to switch on battery saving feature more often considering they charges slow mostly hours 1-2 hours for 0-100%
So Samsung draingate might be a problem to most users updating their already slow charging Smartphones to be draining anyhow considering they take hours to replenish the battery. In this case the battery saver feature must be on always even at 100%. That's no way to live in 2023

Even my A72 after One UI 5.0 update has drastically reduced its battery timing. It doesnt last me a full day as it used to.
Dont know what will 5.1 do to it :(

Your update plan may delay it too. As for battery, that never rever ends... some say OK, some never. I'd say if managed well, it's quite good. Some common sense & use of saving features are needed tho. (I got 52s = comparable to yours)
