Samsungs update are very buggy and after the device is more than a year old they give up on it and bring late buggy updates if at all.

OblivioN, 20 Feb 2023Do not believe (yet) that Samsung would deliberately sabota... moreHistorically at least SAMSUNG had to cope with the so called "GOS’ scandal" in 2022, which was widely perceived as a scheme, while they managed to excuse it as a badly operated optimisation measure. Very much the same as APPLE's affair wiht clocking down iPhone 6 back then via os updates, in a claimed effort to preserve degraded battary health of older iPhones.

When I bought s22 ultra the battery was upto 1.5 days ,but now a days my battery works only for half day.Presently my mobile memory is reached 75 % full ,this may be one of the reason for draining of battery quickly.

somehow after 5.1 i need 2x 100% charge per day, especially when using clear view flip case, using ordinary case the drain is less but still need at least 1.5x full charge.. considering how awesome my s21 ultra after recent update(battery performancereally good).. guess I'll let my s22u have some time to prove itself..

Samsung wouldn't do something like this on purpose to tarnish its reputation. Something like this frequently happens in this business. It's just a bad update that will get fixed in time.
Wait for the next update and move on with life.

For people telling its planned obsolescence, think about it. Samsung provides 4 years of update. Then can do this anytime in the next 3 years and it doesn't need to be drastic but gradual over the years. If they do it immediately, it will drive customers off.

Well haters gonna hate. (not ALL here tho) They're so quick to comment but never come back to admit they were wrong later. Too many examples in recent articles lol. Temporary issue on some models it is. That's it.
Indeed there's something about the idea that in a way, the best software is the one that comes out of the box. Though there are pros & cons, thus it's a personal choice definitely not a rule. (personally I do update)

Apple did this with their os update (battery's health) and no one seems care

Why do y'all have to make literally everything into a conspiracy theory??? It happens, it happened before and they usually fix it with the next update. Y'all just love to hate whether it's Apple or Samsung 💀💀💀
