End of an era: Original Angry Birds game will be delisted from Play Store on February 23

Original angry birds delisted but there are 10 other angry birds game out there

    I played it on symbian hehe, on a Nokia 5530 and when I went to android and ios it lost its charm

      Does anyone actually care about this anymore lol? I know a lot of younger kids play these games, but at this point, they either grew out of it or were too young to have played it when it came out. Crazy how big some of these simplistic games can get with movies and merch

While they didn't specify, they probably want to focus on games with "modern" features like having their customers perpetually pay for microtransactions instead of one time pay.

                        The one in the Play Store is not even the original one. It's a remake and the physics are off. Just sideload the OG one for an old phone.

                        I enjoyed the original Angry Birds back in 2010 when I got an iPhone 4. My fav was the black one that detonated like a bomb. But I was more into the original Plants vs. Zombies at the time. And I enjoyed Cut the Rope and a couple of its sequels like Experiments and Time Travel since it was so easy to get to 3-stars. Angry Birds could get frustrating at times like Candy Crush.

                            Isn‘t it available as an APK anyway? Maybe that’s the reason why they are removing it only from the Play Store, because it‘s a paid game and by using an APK it can be installed for free.

                              Anyone legend people who played first Angry Birds version.

                              This is definitely miss the childhood game since 2009 - 2012.
