Anonymous, 26 Feb 2023For this price sony gives headphones. Xiaomi give you ads ... moreFYI the Xperia I IV (similarly priced, as you said) doesn't even come with a cable in the box anymore, so even worse than freaking Apple and Samsung. I don't know what Sony you are referring to lol, the days of headphones in the box are long gone.

MRSTEK, 26 Feb 2023🤣 similar? Specs here just means "SoC" for u?They said other phone with UFS 4.0 and SD 8 Gen 2... Oneplus 11 is there being almost 500 euros cheaper.
To the average consumer, Oneplus 11 does have similar specs to the 13 Pro.
Almost same, high-quality, high-res panel (only noticeable difference is the brightness, though the OP 11 still has a bright enough panel for most) - barely anyone is going to notice a difference in other disciplines apart from pixel peepers.
OP 11 has capable cameras, it's not like Xiaomi's cameras are light-years ahead.
Same SoC, ofc and storage type.
Almost same fast speed charging; 'only' 20W difference is seriously negligible.
OP11 has better communication standards and arguably better software.
Similar excellent battery life with 8gen2.
Both stupidly still have USB 2.0.
Build is practically identical, both are Gorilla Glass sandwiches (maybe Xiaomi is a bit more premium with ceramic back).
Apart from annoying missing things like wireless charging and small perks, what makes the 13 Pro truly worth the giant price tag, when to the average consumer cheaper devices like OnePlus 11 exists?

[deleted post]It's US engineered, which implies quality. There is no chinese phone that can match the quality of an iPhone or Samsung's top flagships.

Ask your central banks about inflation and your government about taxes.
🤣Not uncommon that price for EU is much higher than in Asia. I am waiting for some europeans explaining that it is because xiaomi don't pay patents 🤣

Im my country (not china) its just 975USD equivalent for the 8/256 version. But samsung has a sale event next week for the s23U for about 1,100Usd (12/256) so im really torn between these two phones.
The iphone 14promax here by the way for the 256 version is 1550USD.

Was all good until the last info about 1k+ pricing. Will stick to my 10T Pro and unlikely to go for Xiaomi again at that price level.
