I'd buy a pixel,samsung or even a Apple device over a chinese brand any day. Having owned Color OS, need to agree to privacy statements for using camera app, browser, and even UI elements. No thanks. At least if Samsung does it, US law has a say if the intent of collection was malicious. Good luck getting US jurisdiction defend your case if you succumb to invasion of your privacy via other manufacturers

Did I mention my favourite brand? I don't worship any brand bcz I am not a fanboy. I had a galaxy a52 in past, then 1+, now having a xiaomi, realme gt 3 may be next, want to have a s-ultra/z fold someday too; but still I am not a protective fan of any.
Even though samsung is the best one to provide timely android updates, still it's not different than any other brand when it comes to being a copycat! I am not blind enough to ignore it. And here you are defending samsung, like they give a damn about you?

After last major update Samsung spoiled the camera in mine, also battery degradation of my sammy was far too quicker than any Chinese competitors, even though Chinese support much faster charging. Also Samsung board/chipset goes kaput more often than Chinese. I think all these are intentional aka planned obsolescence.

Crapsung even removed the 3.5mm jack from low-mid-range segment. I have A72, which by exception is a great phone, but this will be my first and last Crapsung phone after what they've done to the mid-range segment. Besides, there's no 7x option anyway, and A54 has small screen. Complete mess.
