    Foldables are a meme. I had a ZFlip 4 and traded it for an S23 Ultra. Much better phone it is

      Gotta give props to Samsung fir taking their time to make the hinge water resistant and not rushing to put it for aesthetic purposes. It's gives peace of mind that if your $1700+ phone comes in contact with water accidentally it will be fine

            A teardrop type hinge with water resistance. Samsung did it the right way. They paced themselves while everyone made a dash for the finish line. Samsung outsells all other foldables in China except Huawei. If the reports about the dumbell hinge are true, they have an opportunity to control the foldable market in China and potentially repair their image. That is something the S-line couldn't do.

            We will see what Huawei does next. If their next Foldable does not have water resistance, there will be no reason to buy Mate X3 unless your just loyal to the brand.

                    Finally samsung will match oppo and moto in design area. The current hinge in Z line-up looks awkward af when closed and it causes a cease as well
