I remember when so many phones were made in Europe, especially Nokia’s and Ericsson’s back in the early 00’s. Would be great to see that again.

This is a positive move. Being an Ex-Nokia staff, I really appreciate hmd for going forward in this competitive world. Let's rock once again and continue to be the World's most trusted brand...

Good thing, I wonder how much subsidy they get from EU to make this happen. If they get any, but I think they will.

I hope more information was available about the hardware specific details on Nokia phones

Details on storage specs are wanted
Knowing the more on the spec sheet be good

I really want know the storage write rate speeds and endurance on Nokia phones
As no manufacturer actually gives clear information on smartphone specification in depth

Also be usable if what parts are explained the phones are made from as am wondering how this move will change the Nokia phones

I look forward to this. If they make a decent midrange or flagship phone then they'll win me over.

And what kind of phones are HMD going to make?

Because to continue the same as now, I see them making phones together with LG ...

They need to drop the Nokia name and go soley under the HMD name imo the Nokia name is of no relevance anymore.

Great news. Just hope other manufacturers follow.

I like how they felt the need to trademark "Ad-free Android"

energy prices in europe will make HMD to suffer and go bankrupt. mark my words

Doesn't matter. It's still not Nokia. Hmd killed that idea.
