Ok, finally big companies and governments start to see the big problem: china with all the factories, getting all the money equals getting a lot of power. Bring back the power and money to Europe to level things. I'm ready to pay more for things made in EU. It'll hurt first but that'll be good in the long term.

After just launching a phone here for 50k INR with a Snapdragon 695, do they really think the mobile division will make any profit?

Sadly, as many mentioned, their current phones leave a lot to be desired.
Software/specs/price ratio is just way below the competition.
As a suggestion, perhaps focus on less models and in change improve on the software quality and specs.

Probably time to step up their game. Not sure what exactly are they aiming for at this point.

Nokia phones are the blandest phones in existence. They are expensive, with underwhelming specs and they don't stand out with one single thing. First Nokia models from HMD at least had beautifully crafted solid metal chassis that was a benchmark for rigidity back in the day when most phones were flimsy and snapped in half easily. And they also had pretty good specs. Now they have neither and it's just so weird to watch how they butchered the old famous brand.
