what a big lie, almost all devices up to 150 euros from many manufacturers are produced in exactly the same model with very small differences and not because they will be easy to repair - it is cheap to produce this way, hmd's advertising is aimed at those who do not know nothing about smartphone repair

It's definitely not a good as petting in 8gb real ram capacity that the unisoc t606 supports
Yeah am sure it helps with marketing add virtual memory ram capacity too overall amount
Still usually a tiny bit of storage space for a lot of extra ram swooping space is a good feature and useful one
Maybe the benefits are small from but still it's a smart way easily improve performance at least
And highly cost effective the os is running off ufs 2.2 storage this time much better than emmc

it is commendable of nokia to take this step.however, t606 would at most, stay for a year.the spec is not worth keeping for a long run.if they make their mid range phone repairable, that would be the better step

The g37 from mediatek is much worse
This t606 is the bare minimum performance that should be legally allowed...it should the the industry standard for bare minimum... Period
No g30 series is worth it

Repairable phones will always be trash. It's in OEMs' interests to have people buy new models rather than just a new battery every few years.
It's the same with the Fairphone or even the Pinephone. The former has a massive teardrop and the latter massive bezels. Why would anyone want to tolerate those for 5+ years, especially when they're not cheap?

Am really pleased too see this
important improvement For repairability
Although this smartphone probably perhaps not class as user replaceable battery's
It's possible too repair the phone without needing too much skill I look forward too seeing ifixit rating
In terms of hardware specs there's phone are sluggish devices
But still at least the badly needed and very much necessary virtual memory ram feature is added
Software optimization I said where needed actually happened virtual memory ram in order too expand the overall ram capacity by using storage as swoop space
So pleased see this feature on new Nokia phones
I really hope it helps with performance on budget Nokia phones
Hopefully a easy os rollback feature gets added also
As OS updates don't always make a phone better sometimes a update can be the problem
Anyway
Looks promising I do hope there phones are affordable
In theory
The Nokia g22 should be reasonable > budget phone <
With hopefully good enough performance
