Networking:
"Wi-Fi 6E (a/b/g/n = Wi-Fi 4/ac = Wi-Fi 5/ax = Wi-Fi 6/ Wi-Fi 6E 6 GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, 2G (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz), 3G (Band 1, 2, 4, 5, 8), LTE (Band 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 28, 38, 39, 40, 41, 66), 5G-Sub6 (Band 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 12, 20, 25, 28, 38, 40, 41, 66, 75, 77, 78), Dual SIM, LTE, 5G, GPS"

"Communication and GNSS - Galaxy S23 Ultra with VHT160 WLAN:
The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra supports all current mobile communication standards, including 5G Sub6. Only 5G mmWave is not supported. The frequency coverage is very broad, so there should be no connection problems anywhere on the planet. In a metropolitan environment, the reception characteristics of the smartphone are very good and give no reason for complaint.

The Galaxy smartphone does not nominally support Wi-Fi 7, although the SoC should actually be able to do so. On the other hand, you do not have to do without the 6 GHz network in the WLAN, and thanks to the support of VHT160, the 5 GHz network also has a lot of power. In testing with our Asus ROG Rapture GT-AXE11000 reference router, the S23 Ultra achieved high data rates that are also largely stable. Only when sending data (5.0 GHz) was there a short dip, but the transfer rates are still so high that this would not be noticeable in practice."

Anonymous, 02 Mar 2023Yes, they do. By the same, I don't mean exactly the sa... moreProve it? It's literally the basics of wireless connectivity? It's the ABC's of how wireless technology works. There isn't a need to prove it because its a well known fact already. What I want to know is how stable it is, the dba of the signal into and out of the device, how fast it is, how quickly the device can process the data and actually do something with said data. No one reviews these facts these days...everyone seems to just say stuff along the lines of "its fine" which tells consumers nothing. They only focus on how fast the processor is but how fast it is won't matter if you keep dropping connections. It's the same with the whole 5g craze. Everyone is more interested in a stable connection but speeds are less important. If you go into your phone settings you can find "signal strength" somewhere in the device. This number is what matters. No one seems to want to measure this number and how stable it is. Log the the fluctuations of this number over say a 24 hour period of "daily use" and you'd get a result signifying how good each device is in this aspect. If companies would send me phones to review I would 100% include this data in my reviews. All these large review websites, youtubers, tech sites, etc... no one seems to care about this which is really strange since a smartphone without a stable signal might as well be a $1000 slab of glass....

Iphones are good, but s23 is definitely better than iphone14pmax. People buy iphone for simplicity. Will others buy android for flexibility

Hranitelj, 25 Feb 2023iPhone retains its value very well after two years of use, ... moreI'm buying a phone for using it, not selling. I'm also willing to deal with higher loses for more freedom that android offers.

If you believe that the download and upload speeds of the S23 Ultra and iPhone 14 Pro Max when connecting to the same network are significantly different, then prove it.

All phones will NOT perform the same even if they are side by side and on the same network. The Antenna quality, signal throughput of the physical body of the phone, antenna location, how well the modem inside the phone processes the data, etc... All play a big role. Even if both phones were connected to WiFi you would still see a difference. That is why gaming phones often advertise some kinda WiFi advantage or stability over other devices. I really hope you were just trolling because this is really bad miss information...

Do ppl srsly still think these "speed tests" still matter? My last 3 phones have all been super snappy. What really matters now should be things like network signal stability and how fast the network speeds are on each device. A few milliseconds are not going to matter. How quickly the device can send and receive data over 4g/5g is what needs to be the new "speed test".
