This phone sounds awesome on paper. I would have considered it if I already didn't have a Xiaomi 12s Ultra.
I owned a Ulefone Power 3 in 2018. It was a a great phone. Battery could go good 2 days.
It had great Features, few customizable lock screen gestures could launch different apps. Like making a lower case e, would launch email or any app you want it to open.
Also you could browse the photos by moving your palm across the screen without touching the screen.
I could use it with 2G on AT&T back then, then everyone killed their 2G and there was no 3G or 4G band for any of the carriers in the US, so i gave it to my niece to watch and play stuff at home on wifi. Even, a child's constant abuse, it still worked well until last year.
No Android update came by it was stuck in Android 7 Nougat never updated to Android 8 Oreo, even though it was promised.

After seeing s98pro with visible, infra, thermal AvP vision, it won't be easy to impress.

I had a Galaxy S8 back in the days, I had to change the wifi chip in it twice and I had to pay for it, it wasn't covered under warranty. Not exactly what I would call saving money.

DarlingYext, 01 Mar 2023Cool, then see yourself out and buy a Samsung.Probably end up saving money with Samsung anyway.

No matter how cheap Ulefone is, the only way to get security updates is to throw out your (6-month) old phone and buy the next model.

Sin, 01 Mar 2023Ok last year's soc And? Still better than anything, but the 8+gen 1 and 8 gen 2. It's a top tier chipset. What do you want to do on your phone? 8 gen 1 can do anything.

Hold on a sec... "SIM/TF CARD"

This top tier phone seems to have expendable storage.

Nice phone, but who needs an underdisplay camera on a rugged phone?

Hopefully reduced cost somewhere because of dated hardware soc but otherwise good

The Snapdragon 8 gen 2 was huge needed improvement over last year's one and tsmc made soc

So it's like 2 year's difference between them as Snapdragon 8 gen 1 is Samsung made as well

                          Ah um ok
                          But not unexpected really

Goose, 01 Mar 2023This is ruggedized ZTE axon 40 ultraYou are spot on. The only reason why the main camera is different is because the 35mm lens on the Axon 40 Ultra is really expensive. Other two cameras seem to be the same, laser af, microphone and the flash are all in the same place.

PMKLR3m, 01 Mar 2023More like s23 ultra for cheap"cheap" yea sure, nothing mentioned above is cheap. This phone I assume will be over a 1000 usd, as insane as that sounds for a Ulefone, it has the specs to back it up.

Why the skin look like Android Gingerbread! It's ugly on the outside but doesn't have be on the inside, that's is hideous.

Reminds me of the S Active series. Thanks for making one Ulefone. Make some more!
