rizki1, 04 Mar 2023samsung sold more foldables combined than others... meanwhi... moreDid you just forget the existance of Xperia and Pixel series? Also forgetting about domestic brands from Africa and India?
Just remember this, the whole market of chinese brands exist because there are people who only want to spend money under 500USD, not because its cheaper than Samsung/iPhone.

I'm not at all surprised. Do any of the other brands offer an IP rating? Screen replacement offers? Accessories readily available worldwide?
5 years of updates (4 being platform updates)?
Why would you invest in such a costly device without all of the mentioned benefits that Samsung is offering?

DeepIn2U, 03 Mar 2023well Duh! Samsung was THE only manufacturer of foldable... moreNope. Firstly it's not avaible in all European country. Secondly it costs the same as Z Flip4. Thirdly the UI/UX experience is not that good. Fourthly WTF an 8 MPx camera. Chinese phones aren't really competitive this time in Europe.

samsung sold more foldables combined than others... meanwhile chinese brands sold more phone combined than apple and samsung. Chinese foldables still new while samsung has started since 2019, wait until Redmi, Realme or Infinix entering foldable.

Samsung is the one that push foldable phones like crazy. The rest are just experimenting out whether it's the future or not. But with the recent rise of rollable screen, it'll be a matter of time before foldable screen ceased to the history books.

Let me remind you. There are still no other random brands that could beat the sales of non foldable S Series. S series literally destroys the sales of other android flagship, even though the competitor have hundreds of flagship model.

Samsung also outsold all foldables in China except Huawei. Huawei controls 47% of the market. Samsung controls 16%. Oppo, Vivo, Honor, Xiaomi and Lenovo control the rest. If the Z5 turns out to be what we've been hearing, I expect the Z will be on its way to leading sales in China in 2-3 years.
Think about that for a moment. It's the Z that can potentially rebuild Samsung's brand image in China. Not the S.

what they forgot to mention is that probably 80% of the flip sales is that people bought it because of its 'aesthetics' ✨✨
my sister and my friends bought it since it's highly customizable.
