"I'm still happy with my A52s 5G I'll upgrade next year when A56 launches".

Rinse and repeat until there are simply no produced chips in the world that are slower than the SD 778 and a headphone jack magically spawns.

    This will take a while.

UltraHD, 07 Mar 2023520..... 520€? This is absolutely ridiculous, ABSOLUTELY.Surely that's for the highest tier model that has 8GB of ram and 256GB of storage, right? That's more than I paid for my 8GB 256GB A52s. New by the way.

Anonymous, 08 Mar 2023Any OneUI upgrade literally includes new features, new impr... moreYou cannot tell me that animations are more improved. They are worse than One UI 3. One UI 4 sluggish and One UI 5 is buggy. Especially in the app switcher. Every year is a roll of the dice and One UI 3 happened to be quick enough. Yeah, it has the app switcher landscape swipe in issue on One UI 3-3.1, but it's better than having that animation be always stuttery on One UI 4-4.5 and have landscape swipe back half fixed, then Android 13 has delay when you swipe back into an app no matter what. If you are too quick for the UI, you can't swipe back into an App as quick as you could in prior One UI versions. They somewhat fixed the dumb issue where you would have to swipe all the way down to view notifications that was a problem in One UI 4-4.5, but it's still quite long to swipe and it had fading effects which are distracting. It's nowhere near as nice as it was in One UI 3-3.1 or lower where you could swipe down just enough to peek at your first notification, then move your finger back up and out of the notification screen. No fading of notifications or anything. Now you have inconsistencies in the permissions menu on One UI 4 that looks like stock Android. Not a problem on One UI 3.

Ever release of One UI is somewhat half-baked and if it is anything to do with a UI issue, tough luck, you have to wait another FULL YEAR to HOPE that it gets fixed and that nothing else would magically break or not work properly in the next version. One UI 3 may have some visual bugs with the app switcher, but it is by far the most recent "quickest" One UI Samsung released so far. I will say though that for lower-end phones, opening the app switcher is quicker in One UI 5, but it is more jank than One UI 3 in general when on mid-ranger phones.

But it's overprice for a 520USD Android midranger with 5 years software support that also has similar UI with a 1700USD phone?

Now, i'm starting to understand why every comment you've made sounds illogical since the beginning.

But also, the beginning of last year I was using a Blackberry Priv and a Moto X Style, both with Android 6, those were my main phones for a bit. No issues at all. Maybe, I'm just lucky, but I don't believe that.

There are people out there, that want to hack into any electronic device to steal personal data, such has bank details and passwords. They will not stop. So companies have to provide security updates to protect customers, otherwise no one will buy their products.

Would you buy an electronic device knowing it could be easily hacked into? And would you be ok with manufacturer/company doing nothing about it?

No wonder why the marketshare of chinese brands collapsed last year, while Samsungs and Apples number increases. Because most people are not happy with their chinese phone👍

False news spreaded by people like you are the reason why so many people left chinese brand.

If a phone is great the way it comes out of the box with let's say Android 12, then why does it need software updates? Sure, sometimes even a great phone can have bugs, and bug fixes come through software updates which IS helpful, security patches are however pointless. My Android 13 phone with january security patch isn't any more secure than my Android 11 phone with an older security patch.

But also, if I got the january security patch, then why do I need the next patch? Was the january one not secure enough?
