I don't know what's more depressing, that midrangers are starting to cost what 5 years ago was price of lower end flagships/flagship killers, or that people are buying them where it's profitable for these companies.
Inflation doesn't justify these price tags either.

If you compare joke wired earphones with some great wireless earbuds wireless will sound miles better. But if you compare top wireless earbuds with some serious in ear monitors wired is better. Other than that wired is better to use at home. Wireless is miles better and comfortable to use outside. So you don't have to hold your phone for hours or untangle the wires. Both types have pros and cons. You should have both. I have 6 wireless models and 4 wired models.

I know some people who still keeps their old iphone/samsung because of the brand. Even there is a custom rom based on android 13 for galaxy note 2 from 2012!

But, that makes sense if they take this decision since A73, S21 FE, and S22 were close in terms of price. But still, I really hope a fastest midrange SD chip in A74 or even A54 if they really want to ditch A7* this year.
I guess, this year's A series will be less interesting in Indonesia.

It's an Infinix Zero Ultra, Android 12, november 2022 security patch. Not exactly the most up to date, yet makes no difference.

The Xperia 1 is similarly-priced to the iPhone Pro Max and Samsung S Ultra. But if there's one thing I like about Sony phones, they are well known for its notoriously durable long term use.

No joke, Velvet 5G Dual Screen case cost $200. I just can't fathom that.
