        The A series is dead.

I already skipped the Ax3 phones because Samsung refused to sell a A73 in Europe and with those crazy price increases and no 6.7in+ phone in the midrange time to jump manufacturers.

        Pixel Pro here I come

No surprises here. Although a rising cost is pretty much be the death of the A series.

And Velvet was just an overpriced midrange.

That A54 will be 6999k or 7499k in Indonesia, increasing 1000k-1500k IDR really doesn't make sense

As i can see, the A34 will be priced as the A53 was on release, and A54 as A73 on release.this year A series is dull., and also no A74

P C M, 07 Mar 2023You price of the phone according to the features you provid... moreI remember the V60 has an RRP of $799, which is $200 less than the cheapest Samsung Galaxy S20, and you get an S20 Ultra-like screen size, a headphone jack with Quad DAC, active stylus support, and an optional DualScreen case. Even if you bundle the phone with its DualScreen case, it's still $100 less than the S20. It's an absolute no-brainer to me.

The Velvet 5G's $599 price tag might be on the pricier side compared to its contemporary upper-midrange rivals, but it also has the sole advantage of active stylus support and an optional DualScreen case. Plus, it's the only consumer-level upper-midrange phone that I can find with USB-C 3.1 and wired video output support. Samsung's XCover6 Pro is only limited to SME customers.

Anton-, 07 Mar 2023What phone do you have now bro?At the moment, I'm daily driving an LG V50 with its detachable Dual Screen case for my primary SIM and a Microsoft Lumia 950 for my second SIM. Since WhatsApp dropped its support for Windows Phone OS in January 2020, I was forced to go back to Android because my family and friends only use WhatsApp. Despite that, I still keep using the Lumia 950 because Windows Phone OS is still my top favourite mobile OS to this day.

I also got an LG Wing 5G because of its manual gimbal camera control and a Huawei Mate 20 since it's the only flagship Huawei with offline FM Radio support.

"For comparison, the A53 and A33 launched at €450 and €370 last year, the Indian prices were ₹35,000 and ₹26,000, respectively (this is for 6/128GB configuration)." -- I purchased A53 5G (8/128 GB config) roughly two months after it released in India @ ₹33,000.

If you want to purchase a Samsung phone, just wait for couple of months, the price will automatically come down.

[deleted post]Wait until Chinese manufacturers will increase prices too, because they saw it in Samsung and Apple (technically they already did with some models). What can you do now, stop buying phones?
Is the same everywhere nowadays. Did you see the car prices, food prices? Hell, even h**kers increased prices in my town.
I am not defending Samsung, but is the way the World is now.
