That's physically impossible unless the battery has severely degraded in the time you've owned it, that means you did NOT look after it at all. Software updates would make sure its improved over time especially with the OneUI 5.1 which has pretty much resolved every issue imaginable and made it the smoothest OS currently, even smoother than iOS in some cases. If you have the exynos model, then bad luck as they aren't great chips, but Samsung have done a miracle with the latest OS update.

This is already established and has been a major selling point for me when deciding to buy the OnePlus 11, there is nothing to confirm here, now only Samsung and Apple have equivalent support and I absolutely abhor those brands due to poor hardware quality (every Samsung I owned has broken in some way despite me taking care of them) and hating IOS respectively. I think this makes the choice crystal clear, especially for me.

From my personal experience my S20 goes from 100% to 20% in about an hour under constant use
The only good thing about this crappy phone is it charges pretty fast so i don't worry too much about the battery, i can charge at work too

First let them give update to Oneplus 10 pro in India. Dont buy oneplus, my 10 pro is still have not received Android 13, not even a single Security update after October 2022. So sad, and they promise 4 major updates, what a joke.

oppo promises the same support alongside google,samsung and oneplus. funny that; even 2020 samsung flagships get more timely updates and using newer software compared to 2022 xiaomi flagships :) long support is such an important thing because:
1. you can use a flagship more than 3 years with confidence,new features and improving camera quality
2. you can prefer older flagships instead of inferior new midrangers and still have equal or longer software support

I don't understand what is wrong with changing phones from time to time. Especially nowadays, when lots of options are available.
I think it's the only real way a person can know exactly what a phone is capable of. YouTube videos are often deceiving or some well known youtubers are paid to give good reviews to certain models.
