Most of people wou... more1. 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy is just a pure gimmick. It just has a slight higher clock speed but doesn't really affect the performance.
2. Which Samsung already finished receive all of it's 4 years of Android upgrades? We need to wait the S21 for receiving Android 15 to proof that Samsung is really giving that "true" OS upgrades, if that's what you want. (No, no, I still trust them for giving 4 Android upgrades, I just don't really like when you acted like "Samsung is the only brand that give "true" Android upgrades and another brand like Oppo and OnePlus just giving gimmickly announced 4 OS upgrades that just UI upgrades and not Android upgrades" even though I'm not sure that's right.)
3. Better photo camera? Well it's debateable and pure on everyone's opinion.
4. Having an S-pen is not really an advantage if you don't use it much.
5. One UI? Well yes it's not as buggy as MIUI on midrangers, Pixel UI or Oxygen OS, but again, this is also debateable and pure on everyone's opinion.
I won't debate for the other one I didn't mentioned, because I already agree with it.

You just explained the reasons why it s... moreActually not, because the 23U is not exactly groundbreaking, but price was hiked nevertheless. It grows more and more standard tech with every other year, so pice hikes are kind of paradoxic. Ultimately Samsung is milking the market based on old achievements.
And the S23 series is for sure the even more incremental, in fact it's possibly the most incrementaö update Samsung ever released.
I don't believe they deserve to sell substantially above 1k. They are simply super generic phones.

Most of people wou... moreAbsolutely, software support is the one and ultimate differentiator and criterion to decide whether flagship grade claims are justified or not.
I would never buy the tech if it is obsolete after one or two years because of the lack of software support - even if it would be the best tech on the market.
Still, chinese brands seem not to have understood this fully yet.
But software support is the achilles heel of Android anyways.
This is where iOS still is exceptional: fast and long software supply.
And Samsung actually is good with that only on the S series...

Most of people would choose Samsung/Apple over xiaomi without even thinking twice.
I mean S23U uses S8gen2 for Galaxy, not regular snapdragon. It uses UFS 4, twice of speed compared to UFS 3.1. Monthly updates for the first 3 years and quarterly updates after that. Four times "true" OS upgrades. S23U has better photo camera than other mainstream flagships including iPhone 14 pro max. Also has better network of official stores/service center. It has OneUI and S Pen. Best interdevice ecosystem in Android. Also having popular Samsung brand is another plus.

Shelling out above 1000k for a phone is an insult to reason and self respect.
Anyone understands you are paying margins and not technology.
With one exception: if s.th. ground braking is offered, like the initial Fold of Samsung back then. That class of phones should has the natural rights to be in that price range.
Because that kind of tech is risky and expensive to produce, and therefore must be expensive to buy as well.

It's still a concept by Xiaomi. You may want to look at Olympus Air A01 and bunch of modular Sony cameras that can be attached to smartphones.

Call it an ancient technology whatever, at least give user some freedom. Not everyone wants to use some wireless earphone or cloud storage.

Very disrespectful by DXOMARK rating to Xiaomi 13 pro having 136 points and stood 15rank globally. If Xiaomi look that i think soon customers will receive updates and remove those software bugs. so that name and fame of xiaomi will not degraded. As xiaomi initially meant for cheap phone not quality phone but now scenario changed, it stood for better camera with partnership by lecia and upgraded features. so be4 13ultra, 13pro name and fame need to be maintained.

We'll... moreI think they need to work more on Processor, just camera is not everything, last processor is on 5nm with very low an tutu score. Moreover in India, they have very less service centre specially in north area of India. Marketing is very weak by google just like LG and what happen last they go out of market in smartphones.
