The Galaxy A52s is still getting praise, even after the A53 has been around for a while. Can the A54 get the same love from fans?

    Too big, won't buy. I'll probably get an S23 in a year, when it costs 500 euros. It will still have 4 years of monthly security updates ahead of it.

      Altough it's a 2 year old phone, I recommend the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G. It haves similar photo quality, better performance, sd card, only 160gr, great and loud stereo speakers and faster charging. Okay, it don't have waterproof protection but that's the only big difference. It's cheaper too.

      The 13 Lite is a downgrade tbh.

      Still happy about it. But I miss waterproof rating.

                I own an A71. The camera is so-so and I'm ready to upgrade. However, the high level newer S series has gone to cloud storage- no SD slot - like Iphones. I also prefer hard wired headphones (no batteries to charge). Why Samsung has eliminated the SD slot is a mystery to me as it appears to be a popular improvement over Iphones. I'm now looking at Sony or other brands that aren't reliant on a chilled basement of servers called the Cloud.

                  Using A52. Very happy that bought Samsung instead of others. Very easy and cool software. Will wait for A55 or will get angry and will go for a Samsung flagship.

                      Does it feel better to say 2 years old when it's like 1 year and 7 months ?

                              The 2 year old A52s is better than the A54. It was cheaper too. You'd have to have zero self respect to let Samsung insult you by buying the A54

                                  OnePlus 11 R over the A54
                                  The performance, display, camera etc is better on OnePlus and altho the software support is lesser (3 vs 4 OS updates on the Samsung) it still is better than the A54 overall

                                    I don't like either one of these Sammy phones. However if I had to choose, I'd go with the A34 instead of the A54 because of the chipset alone. I've used the Dimensity 920 before and it's great, Dimensity 1080 is just a better version of that. Battery life is excellent with it too.

                                      Both phones are way overpriced and not that big of an upgrade over what Samsung already had in offer. Better move for customers would be to just continue manufacturing A52s but that doesn't make them as much money does it? Removal of hp jack even on midrange models is just sad. It's still a deal breaker for me, no matter how good the device is.
